Good bang for your buck!!! Just as described. Only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't come with a instruction manual. Some options you had to just play with to figure out.

I wanted a surround sound receiver to use with my TV. this one was perfect. it replaced a similar one that had blown out, so I already had the speakers. set up was simple.

Love this easy set up and great price. It is very well made. I usually buy Onkyo but wanted to try something different and I haven't been disappointed. It was a great add on for Onlyo speakera.

First of all, YOU HAVE TO HOOK THIS RECEIVER UP TO A MONITOR / TV TO USE ALL THE FUNCTIONS. If that is ok, then this is a fine receiver. If not, not buy this. Many of the functions and adjustments do not appear on the display on the unit itself, they appear on the TV or Monitor you hook it up to. Not the best if you are using it only for music or a stereo.

Excellent solution - replaced 12 yr/o Pioneer audio receiver with Sony STRDH550 - had Geek Team install - now my old Bose surround sound system works nicely for Xfinity TV/DVD reception.

Recently replaced my 10 year old Sony with this model because I wanted to add HDMI support. I was pleasantly surprised at how much better it made my Polk towers sound. Everything is working great!

Required additional cables to connect to my current system. However, once everything was purchased, it was easy to set up and operate. Has been working well so far.

Bought this to upgrade from a Sony 5.1 receiver. Wanted the extra HDMI ports and sub-woofer port. It's a breeze to setup and the remote control is great! Would highly recommend this A/V receiver.

I purchased this receiver because of the multiple HDMI inputs. Now I ave my PS4, My computer and my blue ray player coming into one hub....works great and it sure has plenty of power!

I was looking for a lower priced receiver and this one was on sale so I figured I'd give it a try. I like it, the sound is good and it does what I needed it it to do.

Unit works ok setup somewhat easy. Subwoofer must need to be powered cause my old sub is not. So might have to invest in a powered. Other than that happy.

I was in the market for a receiver and wasn't even considering this high-end of one. Researched a bunch and loved the features this one offered, found it open box in store and was a great deal!

I was looking to replace my old JVC surround sound receiver with something that has a little more power. This is an affordable item that fills my needs.

I purchased this AV receiver to use it with my Bose acoustic series 6 speakers. This is a basic receiver with not much functionality, and no apps connected to internet. Arc channel works fine too, however sometimes I get sound from TV and the bose speakers too. Same thing happens with my $700 sony receiver, so it would be some software issue where the sound is diverted to both TV speakers and to ARC channel. To fix this problem , either turn off TV volume or start the system including TV, again. So far other than this common issue, no other problems.

wasn't sure how it would fit with my audio speakers but it has performed very well. Sounds are crisp. Lots of selections to choose from for listening choices.

This was an upgrade from a 10 year old reciever. Wow have things changed in a decade. Hookup was a snap. Easy hdmi set up. The autumatic speacker detection made the perfect setup easy

I never realized how much I was missing with my old AV Receiver until I got this one and connected it. I'm completely immersed in sound. A great entry level AV Receiver for a GREAT PRICE!

This receiver is nice to look at and has a great sound. All Sony components work together from one remote control too. Much easier than having to juggle two or more remotes.

This Receiver is great for the garage along with the 12 inch sub-woofer. Only bad thing is best buy does not offer military discounts to active or retired military personnel.

Don't care for surround but wanted to add 2 small speakers & my DVD player. Friend installed everything and the sound is crisp & clear. Nothing fancy but very functional for older folks.
