This is the perfect device for my living room entertainment center. I'm using this in a living home to bring together all my HDMI devices and it works great and simple to use. The price is great too, paid around $200.

I'm not a Sony fan, but this was in my price range and my old receiver was dying. It's a great machine. Sony tends to die quickly in my experience, so we will see in a year, but I'm enjoying it so far.

I like the set up and connectivity for the most part. I had some trouble connecting the speaker system through the optical audio cables, but that is probably due to the speaker system.

Needed a budget receiver and got one that works like a charm. I have KEF Q100 speakers; don't know if I am doing justice to the speakers by pairing them with the receiver but I feel it works nicely.

Only thing I was disappointed in learning was that this product isn't wifi or Bluetooth compatible.

Good piece of equipment, but received only quick start guide. Went online and found 246 page manual. Why was it not with equipment?

Returned item would have cost twice as much. Set up instruction were missing ( got it on the internet) and remote control was missing. So you turn it on manually

It doesn't have some of the newer fancier features like bluetooth, but for the price it works well. Nothing fancy or flashy, but it does it's job well for it's price point.

Unit has bugs. Will be a roll of the dice whether you get a good unit or not. The unit I bought had a bug that would not allow me to change channels or pick presets on the radio function. Returned the unit for a replacement and the radio now works but every once in a while my smart TV loses audio and has to rediscover device. The performance of the two units I have used are unsatisfactory and not worth the selling price.

I am a basic user - for cd/dvd player and television sound. This is purchase was for a replacement receiver, but with some new features that I might grow into in the future,

I was looking for a good, simple amplifier to push my radio/tuner and CD player. Looked at all the AMPs Best Buy had available and based on a great price and system capabilities selected the SONY amp.

Audiophiles can tell greatest sound and this doesn't happen to be that, but remember you get what you pay for

This receiver sounds great, but there are a number of features that cannot be accessed unless the unit is hooked up to a television, as you have to access an on-screen menu. Too bad.

Unit would not hold surround sound and subwoofer noise when powered down.

Our last Sony receiver we received as a wedding gift and it lasted 23 years! With that track record, Sony was the only brand we would trust for another 23 years! Great products!!

We love our Receiver it is beautiful,we had to get a new one because out old one was out of date didn't have the connections that we needn't with all the new technologies that is out now.

we are so happy its like being right there with all the action packed movies we watch now the kids and grandkids come to out house to watch everything... thanks for encouraging family time

My wife bought this as a Christmas present to replace my old 5.1 that failed. System works great, really enjoying the system and the cost was very reasonable. Another great Sony product!

Have it hooked up for basic (minimal) AV for my aging parents: Satellite and Blu-ray out to a pair of front speakers. On screen menu is minimal, but adequate.

Great receiver able to plug in my iPhone and play any music from any app very pleased with the purchase will buy Sony products again salesman at Best Buy was extremely helpful
