I took the camera mainly for Videos and it tends to overheat and turn off on you. But the quality is amazing. If it’s just photos you are taking this camera for it is just amazing, and a couple of videos here and there is good too. But if videos is your priority, avoid this.

Perfect camera for entry level professionals. Easily able to shoot portraits, weddings or anything else at a professional level. 33 megapixels is kind of the sweet spot for photography where you still get enough detail for basically any print you may want to throw at it yet the file is size isn't unbearably large enough to slow your workflow down or fill up your computer. The lens selection with the Sony e mount system is just unmatched too. All around great camera for the price, if you need more megapixels maybe for professional landscape photography the a7rv is another great buy but honestly this camera is almost as good even being a couple years older. No regrets at all with this purchase!

This camera has so many great features and updates to the Sony ecosystem that there is very little to actually want this to also have as a feature. It’s a perfect hybrid camera especially something that’s not super focused in a particular niche. I’ve upgraded from the A7RM3 And a lot of the things that I wish would be an improvement this camera has. Amazing auto focus, great resolution, and awesome video features. I was originally a Canon shooter and this new upgrade further solidified my investment in the brand with Sony and I am glad of the choice that I have chosen.

Amazing camera and great quality. I came from a Nikon d5600 and this was a great upgrade. The interface was very easy to get used to the quality and fps is amazing. The auto focus is ultimately why I decided to switch to Sony and I don’t regret it at all. This is the camera to buy if it’s in your budget and you want to future proof.

Cameras a huge upgrade from the previous generation. High ISO low light performance is amazing

Coming from the Canon EOS R (and previously the A7III), I couldn't recommend this camera more. It has some limitations, but for the price you can't beat this camera. Truly a stellar hybrid camera. Allowing you to have one body that is great in both photo and video. The images are crisp with manageable file sizes. The video is insanely sharp and the crop on 60fps makes sense to avoid overheating. I would say if you're on the fence between Canon or Sony like I was, the deciding factor for me was lens selection. The fact that there are so many incredible third-party lens options with the Sony e-mount system sold me and they work seamlessly with this camera. I still prefer Canon's menu, but once you learn this camera - it's easy enough to figure out.

Absolute beast camera. Loved the quality. Perfect content creator camera. I am a hobbyist and loved this camera. I am coming from the Canon system and absolutely love this camera. Best results with the best lenses. 33 MP generates good-quality images from the camera. I loved the sharpness and focus. I have taken more than 7,500 clicks as a hobbyist by now. I use it for my content shooting, too. Like GRWM type of Instagram content with the cheapest sony lens ( 50 MM 1.8) but I have ZERO complaints about the focus, sharpness, and quality of my videos. Beast camera. The only complaint I have is a better display otherwise its the best camera. It's not worse but it's not canon. Though much much better than CANON RP.
