A: I believe they start shipping in about a month from now on Dec 30th or Dec 31st. I'm trying to pre-order also but no luck yet. I believe the combo with the kit lens is available but I'd rather put that money towards a lens of my liking. Good Luck!

A: Yes it does, however, it will force you to use the crop mode.

The Holy Grail of Hybrid Cameras
Sony a7 IV Review – A Year In I’ve been using the Sony a7 IV for almost a year now, and I can honestly say it handles just about anything I throw at it. I do both videography and photography professionally, and I love that this camera can manage both with ease. The colors and image quality are always super crisp, no matter the setting. One of my favorite features is the full-size HDMI port. It makes plugging in my external monitor quick and hassle-free, which is huge when I’m working on video shoots. Of course, once you add a lens, especially larger ones, the setup can get heavy after long hours of use. But the results are absolutely worth it. Overall, I really love this camera. It’s been incredibly reliable, and I can tell it’s going to last me a long time. If you’re looking for a hybrid camera that delivers on both photo and video, the a7 IV is a solid choice. If you're looking for a camera that can handle it all this is it.

Worth It
This camera feels undeniably premium from the moment you pick it up. The build quality is solid and reassuring, with a finish that looks and feels high-end. The controls and buttons are well-placed, and the menu system is intuitive and easy to navigate even for beginners. Finding settings and making adjustments is quick and hassle-free, which makes shooting more enjoyable and less distracting. One of my favorite features is the adjustable screen. It adds so much convenience when taking photos from tricky angles, whether you’re shooting low to the ground, above a crowd, or capturing selfies.
