The Sony α7 IV is a versatile full-frame mirrorless camera that builds upon the strengths of its predecessor, the α7 III, while introducing notable enhancements that cater to both photographers and videographers.

I really like this camera. Great pictures and video quality. I decided to use this camera on my trip and leave my a7S III at home. The dual SD card is nice feature to have. My favorite feature is being able to access the camera through the app even with the camera being off. Fits in my hands pretty well and the full touch screen is a decent upgrade to previous Sony cameras (I was previously using an a6100). The main issue I have with this camera is overheating. After 5-10 minutes (could be less) of recording, I get an internal temperature too high and it shuts down. I proceeded to upgraded the firmware and same problem occurs. I try to take smaller interval videos, but that only helps a little. Missing on few moments is kind of disappointing especially when you’re in a once in a lifetime experience. This is making me wish I brought my a7S III instead. I would still recommend this camera depending on how much you need to rely on recording videos.

Worth every penny and then some! Any of the "downsides" you hear or read on the internet are minor in comparison to the quality this camera can produce. After having my a7iii for a few years I was worried that I would be disappointed. After receiving my a7iv I have not missed the a7iii one bit! In my opinion useless you need a full "professional" setup the a7iv is more than capable!

By far the best camera I have ever owned. Taking photos feel great with the shutter sound and the quality is professional.

Having previously used Nikon cameras, I recently switched to the Sony Alpha 7 IV and was very impressed. This mirrorless camera offers outstanding image quality, fast autofocus, and a wealth of features suitable for both photography and videography.The only downside is the battery life, which could be longer.

With the exception of the known issues with the dial being incorrect (A= Manual mode, for example), this camera is impressive. I can push it to limits with light and still get good results with crisp detail.

Definitely a massive improvement over the A7III, the autofocus is just incredible. I never really used my A7III for video but with the quality of video this camera takes, I've found myself recording more and more. Everything about this model is just amazing.

I LOVE my Sony a7iv! It has literally been the best and most expensive purchase I’ve ever made. It is worth every penny! I love this camera. It is easy to use and to figure out. 10/10 highly recommend it!

Fantastic camera. Upgraded for a sony a7II. This camera is way quicker. I love long exposure and night photography and this sensor is leaps and bounds better than the prior models.
