This camera kept coming up as the best without being a fully dedicated professional tool! At $2499 it straddles the line between enthusiast and proffessional but it is worth it for someone that will hang on to it for years to come! If you have the money to swing it, this is the best bang for your buck camera you can purchase right now!

This is the perfect hybrid for what I need, great pictures, and great videos. This is great to shoot all sorts of indoor and outdoor sports. Awesome hybrid camera!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using an a6500 over the last few years with lots of success, so I've been apprehensive about seeing the need to move to a full frame camera - mainly, because I've seen little opportunities vs. the investment. Well, I can tell you this A7 IV has been totally worth the investment. It's a great hybrid shooter, which is why I went with this over another full frame. I do an equal mix of stills and video these days.

Great Hybrid Camera

Enough though the sensor is now a 33meg pixel work amazing at night and for cropping in post. If you are coming from the Sony a7 II, a7 III, or early versions highly recommend!!!!
