Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always given 5 stars for the DS4 but this time i got a controller that is not keeping charge nearly as long as others i have had and this was the only time i didn’t get the buyer protection as the ps5 launches soon. I was suspect when the box was taped different than others i bought from best buy. Starting to think it was used or returned or came with defective battery. I missed the return window. Oh well! If somethin feels off with packaging i recommend finding one that is.

Compare to the previous generation, this controller is more weighty, making it feel more rugged. The buttons are bouncier. The triggers slightly curved downward, making them much more comfortable than that in the DUALSHOCK 3. The only conplaint that I have is the rubber on the analog stick. The one in my original controller which comes with the PS4 has started to fray a little.

For better experience connect it directly to your ps4 via usb cable. Less lag and more responsive when connected via usb .
