I like this DualShock 4 wireless controller. The Jet Black color is nice. The touch pad is a great addition as well. There’s a few games that I found great use with it. I need to go to YouTube and find more games that use the touchpad to get a better experience with it but it’s mostly underutilized in most games that I’ve played on the PlayStation 4 which includes the most popular games that released on the PlayStation console. The internal speaker is ok. I enjoy listening to it while I played “Tomb Raider- Definitive Edition”. It sounds very clear. There were no static issues that I was hearing while dialogue was being played. The R1,R2,L1,L2 buttons respond well but the R1 button became sticky before. The directional buttons are ok. The analog sticks are ok too but they can get a bit slippery at times. I’m not sure if they’re any dead zones but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did because my controller is old. The triangle, square, X, and circle buttons are isn’t sticking and I had this controller for years. Maybe because I’m the only one using it and not button mashing very hard until the buttons don’t input correctly anymore. The PS, share and option buttons are still functioning properly and they are not sticking either. The light bar is a good add on and I light watching it glow at night. I haven’t played too many games that really use the motion sensor feature. I did use it to hike the ball in Madden and I also used it in some action video game(s) that I don’t recall the name(s). I’ve used the stereo headset jack to play my games in private and the sound was good and your experience may be based on the type of headphones you own. I’m still not sure if I like this DualShock 4 controller more than the DualSense wireless controller that’s for the PS5 because I need to play more games with them both.

This controller is the best controller I've ever used. I use this controller daily and get vwry little stick drift after a year but that doesn't bother me at all since my character is always moving in game but thats besides the point. If you wanna play competitive fps gaming this is definitely a go to since its easy to master the claw style and you can overclock this baby on pc or laptop to half a millisecond delay so basically the input lag is dead serious. Definitely consider this controller for competitive gaming

I've owned several of these, this exact version satisfies every need I'd ever have in a game remote, and is essentially perfect. It plays sound directly through the remote speaker, has a long battery life, and the color of the controller's light even changes to any hue of the rainbow if like, your gun in the game is green or pink or something, which is really cool. Not just the boring red and blue p1 and p2 options. I own two of these and if I needed to keep getting replacements, I'd definitely get them through this Best Buy site, price and warranty wise.
