There was a small refresh to the PS4 controllers about a year ago. This is the first one I've used and it feels great. Buttons are less squishy and the analog sticks are springier than my launch controllers, and the light bar is visible now (without being annoying). Absolutely recommend getting new ones if your launch controllers are feeling worn out!

Love that it's wireless. Works well, just like the wired version.

PS4 has my favorite controller this gen even despite some minor flaws with its design such as the light bar which you still cannot shut all the way off. They let you dim it but that's all and them using micro sd rather than USB type C just doesn't cut it sometimes. But the longer handles and the adjusted triggers which blow the PS3 trigger buttons out of the water are quite nice. The track pad doesn't seem like it's really needed in my opinion as is a physical share button, personally think that could just be built into the Playstation menu in general and go back to having Select and Start instead but that's a personal preference. I do like that there's a mic and little speaker on there even though the speaker itself doesn't seem to get used a whole heck of a lot. It's a comfortable controller too and something I've even used on PC even though there aren't official drivers for it so you gotta use 3rd party programs but it's still worth it. Their d-pad is still my favorite out of everyone else's out there and makes for the best 2D fighting experience and I emulate a lot so it's pretty nice in that regard too.

It's a great controller it does what it's supposed to do the buttons are not sticking. Right now they're no complaints I will be purchasing another one for when I have guests that want to play.

This is a good built game controller. The classic feel of all ps controller. We dont own a ps4 but this is a great intergation for our apple imac. My son uses it for his game controller for (pc games) wireless so i dont have to kill my kid for pulling the imac of the desk. I have always love the design of all ps contrllors.

When you purchase the PS4, you receive one black controller. However, since my son and I both use the system, I felt I should get one that was unique to me. I love the gold controller...because there's no confusion as to whose controller this one will be. :) Good grip and weighted exactly like the standard version. I love it for the look.
