I got the black playstation 4 controller for two reasons. One- my gold one that came with the gold playstation had the left analog stick stop working (i MIGHT be rough on my controllers - thanks Dark Souls 3!) and Two- because it was $5 cheaper than the other colors. Why? I have no idea, but hey, it works and it's new, so that's all you can ask. Would recommend to anyone needing a controller for ps4. Also, just buy them online. The stores have been out of stock, whether it's Best buy or any other known retailer.

This PS4 black controller does the job, simple and compact, game on!

It’s great but sometimes connecting it with my iPad gives me issues. Like it’ll act like it’s dead even tho I just charged it or I have to keep forgetting the device and reconnecting. It’s only happened like twice but it’s annoying. Overall it’s great and has great battery health so I’m okay with it. Nothing wrong but sometimes I feel like the buttons aren’t as sensitive as they should be and I’ll need to click a little harder.

Goes without saying, Sony knows what they're doing when it comes to controllers. I love the DS4!

Premium quality, looks superior to black. No wonder that's the reason sony has decided to launch ps5 in white. Details/patterns and contrast of two colors can be more easily observed on white. 4 star because i think price should be little bit lower since ps5 is around the corner and with just 2-3 months pending release it's not fair to sell it at launch price. and within a year the price is going to get lower. Just because it's in demand during covid-19 everyone is selling at higher price. I bought ps4 pro black just days before this one. I wanted white but since it was not available. Although i think console as black one looks better since there are not much highlights too distinguish. But with the controller dips on white. good packaging, fast delivery and price match what else want to get away with buyers remorse. I am not sure if taking geek squad on this one is a good idea so i skipped it. If anyone has any experience on controllers geek squad feel free to share.

When it comes to my PS4, I always stick with the Sony branded controllers because they work great. My controllers eventually do not hold a charge as well as they once did, but I had these controllers for about 6 years. They are good for a long time and feel great in the hands. Build quality is top notch. I actually prefer these controllers to the PS5 one, but that's another discussion haha.

It's a great controller for a PS4!!! I meant to purchase a controller for a PS5. My mistake, but it doesnt hurt the controllers review. Great camo color scheme and perfect for those with a PS4. Might gift this to a friend or might try to return it for a PS5 contoller, as intended

The comfort of the controller in hand is spot on. Not overly large nor too small. Neither is it gimmicky. The controller connects quickly to the PS4. While durable, the only thing that interrupts your game play is a dead battery. Which charges quickly. Good controller

This controller feels great in my hands. The dualshock 4 dpad is a lot better for fighting games than the dual sense. Also love the fact that it's lightweight.

Easy to use, great quality. Best thing is the color, looks clean even with kids dirty hands.

if you want a controller get it from best buy with their 9$ Geek squad protection plan you won't need to spend anymore money on controllers with their 2 year coverage also the reason i say every button function the way its supposed to, is because i bought a controller from walmart and the R3 button on the analog stick didnt work so i always test every button now as soon as i buy a new one and the 2 year protection plan is worth it if u have young relatives or kids also even if you know yourself to be a clumsy person i know i am. oh i almost forgot to say that this is the new model controller with the light bar on the touch pad if you didn't know

Great color, nice & smooth design. Easy to operate and wipe off with a damp cloth. Blue goes with my other controllers. I now have a complete set.
