    Don't be fooled by its price tag and lack of g or gm stamped on the body. This is a killer lens for photo and does very well in video too. Despite the lack of oss, I would still recommend this for video. Just throw it up on a gimbal and you're good to go. I was shocked though at how amazing photos turned out, and if anything this is a great photo only workhorse and stays in my camera bag.

    Honestly, you can't go wrong with this lens, especially for the price. It's light, sharp, fun to use and actually has great character. Would definitely recommend to any Sony photographer who is in the market for an 85m lens!

    I've been taking pictures for quite a long time. This is hands down the best lens I've ever purchased. Super fast autofocus and clean sharp photos. The details it captures are insane. Highly recommended.

    This a solid lense. Did some portrait stuff and it really made the photos come out crisp. This a must have in the bag. I would recommed to all.

    This lens is just amazing. After watching countless reviews and comparison videos online, I was convinced to give this lens a try and I could not be happier with the results. This lens is tack sharp and for $600 it is easily the best value you can get for a lens. The auto focus is amazingly fast. There is not enough good I can say about the lens.

    Fantastic lens. You won't be disappointed. For many, 85mm seems to always be a default portrait lens...but it can be so much more when you have imagination! Let you creativity shine through!
