I especially like the manual/auto focus ring making switching back and forth very convenient. The wide aperture is great. Please be aware that the focusing on this lens is quite slow do not plan on using it for any fast moving subjects.

I've used this lens from macro shots to portraits to wildlife shots, all with great sharpness. I have this FE lens paired with my Sony A6300 so effectively I get about 135mm out of it. Since this lens has OSS (Optical Steady Shot), I shoot with a lot of confidence. A surprising "feature", since the images are so sharp, cropping my pictures still look good!
