Decent radio, but misses fundamental features

Sound quality and configurability are fine. Certainly better than most other comparable units. However, there are some really terrible oversights that make it so I can't recommend it. The first (and definitely the worst) is that it doesn't actually save any of your settings to non-volatile memory. What that means is that **if you ever lose power (battery dead or battery change) you lose everything** and it factory resets. Any saved stations, EQ's, Bluetooth pairings, etc. are lost. That is completely unacceptable; I have had $40 head units that do this properly; this is the only radio I have ever heard of doing this. The second is that it doesn't have a capacitor to keep it on momentarily if you are changing between the "accessory mode" (electronics on without the engine) and the car being on. It turns off regardless of how quick you turn the key. I have also had $40 units that dont do this... And the third is that the USB connection provides zero/miniscule power. That means that even if you connect it to your phone with a charging cable you phone will lose charge(perhaps on some really lower power phones it won't?).

Great value, nice replacement for my truck

The buttons would work sometimes, not others, processor speed was sluggish, took forever to read and start playing files from USB storage, etc. When this on went on sale for near half off, and still included installation, I couldn't pass it up. I'm very happy with every aspect of the install and the stereo in my truck.
