If you’d have a child that wants to take up the television all day buy playing games this is the add on for you. My 7 year old can now play his games and I can watch tv again without depriving him of never getting to play the ps5. Best purchase

I overall love the design and love the idea behind the system. Within my first week of owning and using it, I started having connectivity issues. I read online about moving your router and making sure that you were on a steady connection but I still had connectivity issues, and then I developed a drift in my left joystick, I ended up returning it but if they come out with an updated version that solves all of those problems out the box, I will definitely be purchasing another one

Very easy to use but the lag can be a problem when connecting to the PS5 even if you have a good internet connection.

Simply an amazing addition to the PS5 family! Love the black color so much more than white! You will not be disappointed adding to your gaming arsenal.

Probably the best gaming purchase I've made after my PS5. Cloud gaming also syncs my progress on console and on the go. A must have for gaming while on vacation.

Beat video console, play any where and good quality

This a great handheld device , changing your resolution to 1080p on your PS5 is recomended when streaming , the only issue i had was that when ever i tried to conect to a wifi in a hotel room , if the hotel has a webpage where you have to sign in before using the wifi the portal will not let you connect at all it doesn't have website support

Great resolution can always be better. Also great if the other features of playstation would work, not just online games and the one disc inside console.

I live in a one bedroom apartment with my wife, which is fine but we only have one tv. On nights when my wife’s friend Jake comes over I have to be secluded in the bedroom away from my PS5. Having the portal has helped alleviate this problem as I can now game while he is over. I plan on buying the headset next so I can mute out the panting from the other room, they say the are working out but my wife doesn’t look any fitter. Oh well 10/10 would recommend.

I really enjoy using this, especially when the TV is in use by other family members. I'm a dad, and being able to play PS5 handheld is great when anyone else wants to use the TV. I wouldn't use it to play frame dependent games like Street Fighter 6 due to input lag, but it's great for something like Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, where timing doesn't need to be perfect. 8/10 definitely recommend it to parents that want to play PS5 and share the TV.

Ever sifne the update withh cloud gaming it has been so smooth. No ps5 needed ajd they added games every week when i travel I can take my portal with me. Even though its in beta one day we can play our games or maybe download them but no lag or nothing when I play

Great concept, fun to use, and quality is top tier!

I get that the Portal is somewhat divisive but I kind of like it. I get to keep on playing when my girlfriend wants to use the TV and that's all I really want it for. I personally wouldn't use it for anything competitive (EAFC for me) or any game that requires quick and precise movement (any FromSoftware games) but it works well for anything else.

It’s made by Sony-so of course it will outshine the 3rd Party Competition. Yes you could use a Steam Deck to get close to the same experience on OLED, but let’s be honest why would you pay more? I wish the screen was OLED, but it’s simple and it works. It lags on occasion when out of home network, but it’s to be expected. Overall it’s new and I’m sure Sony will release future updates to alleviate issues. PARENTS I’m sure some have discovered you NEED a PlayStation 5 for this work. This is not a Nintendo Switch.

Works Great, just make sure you leave the PlayStation logged into your psn account and on standby when away.

Took a while to figure out how to get it to stream but now my partner and I fight for it when we go out of state
