Not a huge fan. Ended up returning it. Connection does not work very well even if on the same wifi network as the PlayStation and it constantly looses connection. Can get the same result using an iPad and remote play if you have one. I just can't justify the price point for those few setbacks. Great concept though just needs some improvement with connections

Excellent companion to the PS5. I have only used the device on my home Wi-Fi so far, so I can't speak to how well the portal travels. Everything has worked great so far, and I love the option to play on the front porch or on the couch while something else is on the TV. I'm glad I purchased this. Battery life is good and the unit itself feels like a quality device. Games do look great on the screen as well.

This thing is so cool! I can play while the kids hog the TV! Best purchase ever and worth every penny!

Got this product to play some more while am at work or while my gf is watching tv I can play my ps portal on the side and get my game on

Works better than anticipated. If you are looking for a way to play your PlayStation without being connected to your tv/console, this is the device you need. However, you need strong internet, preferably connected via Ethernet to get maximum efficiency.

When it worked, it was enjoyable. I got this for gaming on the go around the house. At first the device was amazing and ran good while I was close to the WiFi router, but when trying to use it in other rooms, I encountered input lag and latency issues. For reference we have fiber internet and none of our other handhelds experience anything like this. So I think this is a good idea for someone that just wants to chill in the room with their router and use it.

If you go in knowing that the Playstation Portal is simply a device that allows you to stream your PS5 through an internet connection then you should love this device. It is light weight, good battery life (5 hours) and lets you stream your ps5 and the games installed on it. Works best at home but i have been able to connect and play using my phone as a hotspot.

Great product for what it is designed to do. Great for gaming when you also want to watch TV or have children who utilize the TV as well. Less disruptive for late night gaming if you don't have a whole living area to occupy. Can also be used on the road if you work away from home often. For only $200 compared to other gaming consoles very good - even if it needs a PS5. If you already have a PS5 it's a great add on.

This handheld is awesome! I love that they added the PS Cloud streaming however that requires you to have the premium subscription. If you are away from your PS5 often then this is perfect

The PlayStation Portal is an excellent device with a few drawbacks like the fact that it is limited since it only does one thing and if you don’t have a PS5 than it’s more or less a 200$ paperweight but as long as you have a decent connection to your PS5 it’s not bad at all

Was in search of other ways to play games from.my PS5. Mobile app was working but you experience the latency. So alfar the Portal has been great with remote play, theres occasional latency but it is much much less compared. And even then its playable. Only thing i wish it had was bluetooth to connect headphones. It was a big miss from sony yo lock it to their pulse headphone. Maybe its better for the latency, who knows for now

I have to reconnect to the internet each time I use it. Motion controls are not great for my son when he's in his bed. Still a wonderful device.

It’s an awesome device and allows me to enjoy the ps5 anywhere. It was an adjustment period at first but after using it about 4 times a week now it’s a great device to have. Especially if you don’t get to play your ps5 as often this will get you back in the mood.

Just as the box stated the Portal was in excellent shape. Had all items in box and saved some money what more can you ask for.
