This ps5 portal is absolutely fantastic! The build quality is top-notch, the features are incredibly useful, and it has completely transformed my kids gaming experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a consol portal .

The PlayStation Portal is a game-changer (pun intended). I've been using it for a while now, and I honestly can't believe how much I love it. With my internet connection (500 down and 100 up), I forget I'm even streaming games. This is my new favorite way to experience my PS5 titles. The screen is gorgeous, the controls feel fantastic, and the experience is seamless. It's basically a PS5 in your hands, and it's amazing.

Its really good tbh,it would be nice to use it without wifi and you need high speed wifi to run the games specially if u play online!!

Wow, with all the hate around this, I was a little worried it would be a dust collector. Nope! Sony, good job with this, and I can't wait for updates. I know you all have more to come. Yes, I have more than one TV, but the fact that I don't have to be stuck at my TV in my game room is amazing. Downstairs with the family as they watch TV. Amazing! Sayless

Just like the steam deck opened up possibilities for me to play games in my steam collection which I have not touched in a long time, so did this beautiful device. Yes I was disappointed when they first announced it that I would not be able to do cloud streaming onto it without a ps5, but despite that, I am thoroughly enjoying the freedom this gives to play wherever and whenever I want around the house. Been on a MHW binge with all the rage after Wilds announcement. What a blast.

Not an actual handheld and if WiFi isn’t strong enough when ur out then ur sol, need an actual hotspot, 3.5/10

After about two months of waiting i was finally able to track one of these down! And I absolutely love it not having to be in my office to catch up on some games is awesome! And yeah i could've gotten a backbone sure but that ties up my phone , this is dedicated remote play which made ot easier to connect, set up, and get right to gaming! The lack of support for earbuds beyond the sony ones is a bit of a let down but i have it on low (its gets pretty loud) and go from there!

Love this thing. Able to play my games out of state which is awesome! The inclusion of the cloud gaming also has made this a must buy in my book!

Overall I like my portal but its usability is completely reliant on your internet. I have a gig speed wifi and sometimes that isn't enough for my PS5 to broadcast out to my portal. It would be nice if my ps5 was plugged in via Ethernet but sadly my router is on a different level. When everything is running smoothly the portal is a joy and is crisp but when everyone is streaming in the house my games look like something out of the 16-bit days.

Amazing product! It’s everything I asked for and then some! This product allows me to play from my bed or anywhere else on a strong wifi connection! For example I am in NY and my PS5 is on at my house in Boston! Nifty and convenient product on the go. Best Buy was able to help me in tremendous ways and the easiest way. One of the best purchases i have made. This makes it a lot easier to lay in bed next to the wife and get some gaming in. The streaming is great and i find my self playing more games.

PS Portal was a great purchase. When my family is using the TV in the family room I can still play my PS5. Have taken it to other places outside my home and connected via the hotspot on my phone. It use to disconnect while in the house sometimes, but I connected my PS5 directly to the router instead of via wifi and the portal hasn't lost connection once since then. Would recommend if your on the fence about purchasing. Wish Sony offered an official case for it though.

Its ok but for games requiring the track pad its hard to manipulate.

Loving the purchase. travel a lot so remote play is awesome. the screen is much better than the switch. BUT it doesn't have storage, replaceable joysticks ends, and performance can be non-existent if you don't have FAST wifi.

Is a nice item to have to play PlayStation games on the go. Wish it would hold a internet connect a bit better though

Personally I’ve had a great time with this device. Pros: with my solid internet, I noticed little to no lag while playing games. Screen looks really good for an LCD. Ability to enjoy PlayStation games with all the DualSense features, and portability to play games throughout the house. Cons: Battery life is not great (somewhere around 2 hours), requires a solid wifi connection.

If you’d have a child that wants to take up the television all day buy playing games this is the add on for you. My 7 year old can now play his games and I can watch tv again without depriving him of never getting to play the ps5. Best purchase
