This was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend! He takes this thing with him everywhere! He loves it!!!! Just buy it they will love it

I have seen many reviews saying that this piece of equipment is useless. I cannot disagree more. However, it does have it’s limitations regarding the need for a string wi-fi connection. But if you weren’t aware of that before you bought it, then you didn’t do any research. If you get it for what it does well then it’s totally worth it. I can actually use mine at work and it’s absolutely incredible, especially for $200.

I do not mind that it is only remote play, I only game at home - this is the main complaint I have heard from peiple, that it doesnt play games natively. Remote play works great with my PS5 ethernet plugged into a wireless extension plugin. Makes it easy to get some gaming in with others in the house using the TV. Hopefully this becomes more available for people to buy and also some colored versions!

This is a game changer for real! I bought it for the lazy days when i really don’t want to set up in front of a tv and play games. It works really well when your network is strong and the picture and sound quality is fantastic. You can also take this on vacation and play remote as long as your PS5 is in reat mode and you have wifi where you are at. Get one if you are serious about gaming!

This device does exactly what I wanted it to do, stream my ps5 when I am upstairs relaxing. I made sure to keep my other connected devices off the dedicated wifi and it works like a dream. I have had zero issues with the connection and have played about 10-15 games while I have had it. Don't expect to play it elsewhere other than home because that is what it is not intended for, other than that a must have! Well worth the price

This handheld is awesome! I love that they added the PS Cloud streaming however that requires you to have the premium subscription. If you are away from your PS5 often then this is perfect

While this item does exactly what it says it does, I’ve experienced some problems with connectivity. Most of the time it gets resolved by resetting the ps portal, but it’s kind of annoying having to do that every time I wanna use it.

Works well enough as long as you are on a strong Wi-Fi network. Can lag from time to time when the signal isn’t strong. Why they made this without Bluetooth capabilities to sing wireless headphones is beyond me. I believe it works with the PlayStation brand wireless headphones, but I should be able to use what I already have.

PS5 suffers from the shackles of console gaming. Ur stuck in one stationary location. I have put half a dozens hours on the PS5 vs the hundreds on the Switch. The portal acts as a Nintendo Switch: go where ever, play whenever (strong WiFi required). I’ve had little issues with lag and slow connection, granted I’m near high speed WiFi spots.

Its hit or miss on if it will wake ip the PS5 remotely. But wheb its running it seems to work as intended. Feels good in the hands.

It's okay. It's not bad at all. It's just something about and the design It could be because I'm used to playing. What's my age controller? And also I had a hard time connecting it, you have to keep playing with it every time you go. Let's to use it. I'll give it. A big thumbs down, I'll just wait for the p.S p to come out

For what it is this is the best way to remote play the PS5. Its essentially a dualshock controller with a screen. The screen even though it isnt OLED is bright and vibrant. The remote play experience will vary based on your internet speed but for me on my 5ghz signal it works really good. I dont have my PS5 hardlined either. I havent tried it away from home yet so i cant speak on that as of now. Great device great price too.

Love the portal, finally I have the power of my PlayStation 5 in my heads no matter where I’m at in my house. Can play spiderman 2 and grand theft auto on the comfort of my toilet when that times calls. I’m able to spend time with my family and also play my game!! That’s a big win for me lol. No don’t be fooled in order to enjoy the portal you have to own a PlayStation 5. It’s not a stand along console but and accessory to the ps5.

i pre-ordered this item and was able to pick it up on release day it seems like alot of stores don't have these in stock to buy unless u pre-order if any not sure why that is but i love the device i have small hands and fits perfectly for them and thumbsticks are smaller but yes make sure u have a ps5 and a recommend internet of 15 mbps for it to work well it wont work without a ps5 and wifi no lag issues at all since playing on it for awhile.

Great way to play PS5 games pretty much anywhere you have access to a decent WiFi connection.

This system is very handy for a nice switch over from your tv, to your hand held device. For being a father to able to be able to game as my child can watch tv is amazing. The transition to the portal is fast and easy to set up. I have recommended this to many friends with them buying the system as well.

The remote works but the wifi is faulty at times. Im not sure how to repair that on the item. When it works, it works well.

The playstation portal is a must have for extreme gamers. This isnt a stand alone console, meaning you do have to own a ps5. This device allows you to play all the games you have on playstation while on supported wifi. I play my playstation at work and anywhere else i can. My 8 year old also enjpys this when were out or if im using the tv to watch sports. The battery life on this playstation portal is excellent.

This device was. Represented badly or people don’t take the time to read carefully. This was never meant to be any but what it’s meant to be. This portal is amazing in every way as long as you have a great connection. Recommended to used of you have to two option on WiFi to use the 5GHz option. Make sure you ps5 is connected to the same one as well or even better to use Ethernet. No laughs runs smoothly. Still get the hiccups but minor
