I bought this for my 7 y/o son and he loves it . He can use it anywhere there’s WiFi .

I think the portal is awesome for gaming on the go the only thing I don’t like is that we can’t use Netflix or YouTube to watch movies like we do on the PS5 but overall it’s pretty cool.

I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. It's a very nice light weight device that mirrors your PS5. I work at night and there are lots of quite slow times on my job. The PlayStation portal is perfect in these slow situations. I use my phone as a hot spot and synch it to the portal. It runs perfectly just like I'm playing at home on my desktop unit. I love it!

Definitely worth the money. It comes in handy when you are in a pinch. Looks and works great. Only thing is that I have had it for a little over a year and one of the speakers blew out. Otherwise it's awesome.

It doesn't function individually like a Nintendo switch. It takes over the ps5 console. So if you leave a gamer at home and have a gamer who takes the portal on a trip there needs to be coordination or there will be tons of fighting

Excellent it definitely exceeds my expectations perfect condition plus excellent quality!!!

Pros: great seem less display that lasts several hours, can access any digital game installed on my PS5 and any game disc that is in the disc drive at the time, acts as an additional controller for the PS5 its connected to. Cons: can take a little while to connect to the PS5 with a good Wi-Fi connection, does not allow to switch between profiles (even if multiple profiles are set up on your main console), does not allow other profiles to play on the main console while the portal is being utilized (may allow during multiplay, but I haven't tested this) Had I known the cons above going into the purchase I still would have purchased a d may have rated this higher. If they make new versions/releases of this device I'd love to see the cons improved upon. At this point, It's basically a remote play accessory that has a controller and screen. O would not let pay more than the retail price for this device ($199.99 at time of purchase)

You can play games through remote play on your ps5 or scroll through the 200+ games in the cloud streaming catalog ( requires a ps plus premium membership).

It was really amazing playing games on it like fortnight and cod. It was really easy to set up and I traveled with it is still connected to my ps5 from home. I really enjoyed it a lot.

My son loves the portal. He plays it all the time. He just complains that it lags sometimes.

Great way to play…. Good sized display and great quality graphics. Just have to have your consol on to use it.

This thing works great so long as you properly setup upur home router. There are ports that need to be opened so you can get strong connections outside hour home wifi. Once you have it setup properly and have a stable connection it works amazing. A quick google search for ‘remote play port forwarding’ should get you the info you need.

Yes the Portal “only” plays your PS5 games but it does it so well (assuming you have pretty good wifi). So far I’ve only used it at home but I’ve used remote play for years on my phone and iPad. I expect this to be a much better experience once I can travel with it. Only thing I would really knock it for is not having some kind of browser to be able to login on hotel wifi.

I love this thing. I play this thing everywhere, it’s super convenient

If you have a good WiFi at home this thing is amazing, if your internet isn’t so good then it might get frustrating with lag
