For the most part, this portal does what is advertised. You can remotely play or stream your ps5 games away from home. The good: you can play away from home, the led screen is pretty decent. The system is easily portable. The speakers are great. The bad, your ps5 needs to be in rest mode, the controls are super sensitive, the touch pad functionality is in the screen, making certain moves complicated, and msybe the worst function is the wifi connection. If your wifi in the area you are playing, if it's a good connection then the game play is ok.. but if the wifi isnt that great, then playing is a nightmare..every time i play, i get frustrated in the first 20 minutes then give up. But i live in a very rural area, so wifi blows.. bottom line. Its worth it if you have great internet..

I bought this for when I travel to visit my family and it works perfectly for that. I had the backbone and still do but it was small and cheap feeling and I had to take the case off my phone every time I want to use it but this is dirty. The display is huge clear as long as you have a strong Wi-Fi signal, you can game on your PS five anywhere

This little device does exactly what Sony says it does…it’s a portable PS5. It’s a nice addition to the ecosystem and haven’t had any real issues accept connectivity in and out when using hotspot but none with WiFi. The kids use it mostly and they seem to enjoy it. It allows them to pretty much be anywhere in the house. Overall a very good investment and highly recommend.

When it works, it works phenomenally. Connectivity can be an issue at times but overall very nice product.

Great way for me to continue gaming while others watch the main TV, or if I want to be in a room that my PS5 isn't in. To me, better than streaming games to my phone, as now I have a dedicated device with all the features of the Dualsense controller to make the experience all the better. Highly recommend!

If you have bad connetion it will not connect and your hotspot struggles to pair since itll say not connected and if you try like a company wifi local vender it will automatically decline other then thats its okay cause the graphics are clear and its smooth on a strong connection played both PS5 games and PS4 no issues at all

I like the Idea of this thing, works for what I want it to do which is to play my games when the tv is being used by my nieces. The connection is spotty when in the same room but ok when near the system. Next time I would have just bought another tv.

Like many people, I was skeptical at first. After spending time with it for 3 weeks, I’m actually very impress with the Portal. The bootup is much quicker than the BackBone iOS Remote Play and I barely had any lag while my family were using the Internet. This is the perfect device to play JRPGs and casual games. I recommend it.

I’ve had for a about 6 months already and it’s an absolute life saver. I have basic WiFi, 300 mb, and it runs perfectly. I’ve used it at hotels and it work just be sure to leave your PS5 on rest mode.

This is not a seperate system. It is an extension of your ps5 and allows you to play the system on the go as long as you and the system is connected to the iternet. Its a great alternative to remote play and its screen and speakers are definitely immersive enough for you to enjoy the experience

Amazing, you won’t regret it. Now I can game from any room. Might need to have your pa5 connected to lan and not WiFi. Noticed it kicks me off the portal if it’s connected to WiFi.

I love the display, and the controller is very responsive. There are some features not available, compared to the standard controllers, but an overall great addition for PS5 owners.

Only caveat is you must have very fast wifi. I have one of the top of the line Nighthawks. Works great, zero issues. The controllers are great. Well made device for what it is made for. I enjoy playing on it.

Been wanting a portal for awhile now and I’m very happy I pulled the trigger. If anyone is on the fence I would say purchase and enjoy.

The PlayStation portal is great for in house use as well as outside the house use and connection. The only downfall of this product is that if the WiFi you want connected needs a secondary browsing source you can not connect. That’s the only change I’d make to this product or if possible apply to an update to allow for better connectivity.

Got it as a gift for my brother he loved it due to its portability and being able to use his ps5 when he is away from home and now with the added cloud gaming he says its even better

This was purchased as a gift and this review is based on the recipients' comments. He said it's the most comfortable handheld gaming device he has ever owned (and I have bought all of them for him over the years) He likes the screen size. He said its very nice.

Great at close range, for sharing the TV. Not so great anywhere beyond 10 feet from the console.
