Well designed, ergonomic, and relatively lightweight. Makes for great gaming away from the PS 5. Recommend only if have good Wi-Fi infrastructure. Does not work well on phone hotspot. 

i purchased this for my boyfriend’s birthday and i don’t regret it! when he’s traveling or working, the portal is still connected to his console and the quality is amazing!

Not worth the buy too glitchy I have the highest Internet speeds for multiple devices. I work from home. Everything else works perfectly fine on my Wi-Fi connection. This one just is not something worth the dollar value. Honestly, I waited too long to return it.

This was a birthday gift for my boyfriend and he loves it! Definitely allows him to play with more comfort!

Perfect gift for the dad who can’t use the tv because cocomelon is on. It’s requires ps5 and a good network connection. Works on my cellular network good too as long as you have decent service.

Depending on your internet connection it may not be for you but I can honestly say for me it’s been a great purchase. If someone is using the tv I can jump on the Portal with little to no issues.

My son loves the Portal best thing Eva Best Buy made that happened he is special needs and the portal was the one thing he wanted thank you Best Buy I really thank you from the bottom of my heart

It’s an excellent product for anyone that wants to play their PS5 on the go.

The portal is great I’m very happy with this purchase when your a dad it’s hard to play when your children are using the tv but with the portal now I can play whatever I want

Here’s the brutal truth about this device: The battery life is pathetic, barely lasting 2 hours on mid to low settings. Connecting to the PS5 is a slow and tedious process, taking at least a minute even with top-tier Wi-Fi 6E on a fiber network. Connecting via home network or mobile is excruciatingly slow. The screen looks decent, but it's just LED at 1080p 60Hz, not OLED as it might appear. This device devours data, consuming about 10 gigs in just 2 hours. There’s no way to lower the resolution to save mobile data when using a hotspot. Completely impractical. It comes with ONLY a Type-C to Type-C cable. Almost no one has a Type-C power brick, so now I have to spend even more money on additional cables just to use the device after paying over $200 plus tax. It’s bulky and not a lightweight handheld by any means. Ergonomically, it’s a nightmare. You have to constantly adjust your grip to use the triggers. All standard controller functions work the same as on the PS5, including vibration and adaptive triggers. In summary, this device is a major disappointment. It’s essentially a paperweight unless you have a PS5 and a robust internet connection. For $200, I expected far better. The inclusion of only a Type-C to Type-C cable is infuriating. Unless you have money to waste, don’t bother with this product.

Love my Dadstation so much! Did a lot of research and was waiting for it to become available. I know the reviews are torn. But I works well for me, and I’ve not had any issues!

So far I have used this for playing mainly rpgs such as sea of stars and FF pixel remasters etc. Haven't had any issues streaming to the portal using ideatek wifi 6 AP's.

I love the build quality, it works great when I'm using it on my network, playing a game on my bed is nice. But when I use it somewhere else, the quality is garbage. Now I know it's not my upload as I have fios and upload speed is really high. Another negative is not being able to login on wifi networks that use a login page, so no public wifi networks. Also you can not use it to watch YouTube or dvds, not a huge deal but it is another limit.

For those complaining they couldn’t get one, the pre-orders were up multiple times for quite some time. Got mine no issues. Love it, especially when the TV is tied up im still able to game on!
