All while I have good internet to support this, also it’s not the best if you don’t want to take it out. I would recommend the backbone it has the same features as the portal but you can also play Xbox, steam, or mobile games and to top it all off the backbone is much more affordable.

As many others said, connectivity and lag are regular. You should just be able to connect to the internet and play smoothly. Mine is being returned.

Need excellent wifi...

Games like Resident evil, and God of War are playable with really good signal on hot spot, but the input delay is extremely noticeable. While paired with the ps5, sitting right beside it, and running on 1 Gig fiber optic; the delay is still pretty noticeable. The system itself is great quality though.

This is not a device for competitive play. I currently can’t play Alan Wake 2 due to touch input control issues. The “brightness” settings for the light bars and mute button are “on” or “off”. Hardware is great quality; software needs more time in the oven.
