Minus a few infraction's, The PlayStation portal overall is pretty good. Falls a bit short being better than the steam deck.

Works good when you have good WiFi. WiFi only which is a bummer

Bought the PlayStation Portal to allow remote play in rooms different from where I have my PS5. So far no issues with lag.

Haven't had any problems with it the games look beautiful and having the same specs as a normal dualsense 5 is a win for me.

Good product i enjoy playing with it really holds expecations

It's literally a WiiU gamepad for Playstation. If you think of it that way, you will enjoy it.

This is a great product. I love being able to play my PS5 while my wife is watching the tv.

Honestly a nice device. Feels great on the hands and its all sleek with the system. Unfortunately I believe Sony missed on the features of the device. Limited to what internet you can connect to, no support for third party Bluetooth, inability to switch players between accounts in the device. Could have been great but too much proprietary shortcomings.

After about two months of waiting i was finally able to track one of these down! And I absolutely love it not having to be in my office to catch up on some games is awesome! And yeah i could've gotten a backbone sure but that ties up my phone , this is dedicated remote play which made ot easier to connect, set up, and get right to gaming! The lack of support for earbuds beyond the sony ones is a bit of a let down but i have it on low (its gets pretty loud) and go from there!

Seems to work quite well, as long as you are aware of what it is and its limitations.

The screen is nice but the gameplay is a little glitchy. Need to have excellent internet connectivity.

PS Portal was a great purchase. When my family is using the TV in the family room I can still play my PS5. Have taken it to other places outside my home and connected via the hotspot on my phone. It use to disconnect while in the house sometimes, but I connected my PS5 directly to the router instead of via wifi and the portal hasn't lost connection once since then. Would recommend if your on the fence about purchasing. Wish Sony offered an official case for it though.

I brought for son in law and he loves it. He said thats the best part is you can take itwith you every where you go.

Love it! Works great after the first couple uses. Battery life could be better.

Didn't like the fact that you have to have your ps5 in rest mode to use…it has been in the box for almost a year. When it was purchased in Feb 2025 I it was a total rip off, now it's Feb 2026 and got it out the box because I heard it was an update where you can buy a subscription, which I did and it's still not woat I though it was going to be.…don’t waste your money if you're a gamer.
