Received damaged. Best buy said they would give me a protection plan after I said I would keep it (in writing). After 2 days of phone calls, being disconnected many times, and refusals to be connected to a manager I'm done, and still don't have the warranty. Absolutely fed up with BB, I can't get a replacement guaranteed before XMAS. Closest BB is 250 miles away or I'd go shove this thing in their face. Never felt so disrespected by a company that I've spent Soooo much money with over the years. Sad but time to shop elsewhere. Buyer beware, horrible customer service!!

i wanted this thing since it came out. When i finally got it i was very disappointed. No i didnt expect it to be like a psp but i expected the connection to wi-fi and latency to be better. The idea of the portal was great but they didn’t execute in my opinion

This item is great when it comes to design and graphics but it sucks when it comes to playing remotely. I think PlayStation need to make this same game independently that uses some sort of digital games to play anywhere or anytime without having to connect to a physical ps5 to play remotely.

Bought this for traveling purposes, hard time connecting to internet and when I finally did, it wouldn’t connect to my PlayStation. Not what I expected from the product. I should have read and watched more reviews.

This is pretty cool only thing is you should be able to play different games like someone play on the portable whatever game while someone plays on the ps5 whatever game they choose to play

Nicely built. Feels well constructed. Terrible connection despite strong wifi network and signal. The lag makes games unplayable. Returned mine

This is the only technology I own that constantly disconnects from my wifi. It happens every few minutes. When it does run, it is pixelated. Streaming apps and Nintendo switch all work fine on my wifi. It worked well for the first few weeks. Too bad it didn't act up before the 14 day return policy. Would not recommend. PS My internet is fiber.

The idea behind this handheld is amazing. Being able to play your console anywhere with stable wifi on a handheld like this is so cool. Even the materials used, and the robustness of this device is 10/10. Unfortunately, where it falls short for me is the lack of an OLED display. For $200, this should at least come with an OLED display, not a cheap LCD. Going from an OLED phone, to an OLED tv, to then and LCD portal is not something I want to get used to. Picky as it may be, but OLED should be used in this device.

Needs wifi in order to run, unless you have the best connection, games are choppy

Would not recommend wait for an actual switch like Sony portable. Have had bad visual quality and alot of stuttering on very good internet.

Terrible terrible serivce, I was told lies and your customer service agents just told me stuff to pacify me when nothing got done right accept the refund. My purchase was sent to a random incorrect address and I was told multiple times I would get my package, the PlayStation portable shipped to my correct address in Philadelphia and it was sent to Illinois. Terrible service and will never buy from Best Buy ever again. The customer service agent must of sent my package to himself because I purchased it through invoice.

I tried the PlayStation Portable. My experience was it was too limiting. The screen is nice and the controller was comfortable in hand, but i was looking for something more independent from having to be on the same wifi and near the actual PS5. This is just an extension of your PlayStation. I need something more like the PS Vita.

I bought it as a gift for my son he opened it tried to play his game. He said that the game was lagging a lot, so it was returned.

60hz screen is horrid, very laggy and delayed. youre better off waiting for a newer version to release with 120hz. Just glad i was able to return it

Dont believe these reviews... i have over 1gb speeds bought a gaming router just for the portal and still have problems with it remotely connecting from away from home and when i am home i get a delay, sometimes doesnt want to wake ps5. Ps5 is wired, did all the recommended settings online youtube videos, still same results.... lame. Have better playing xbox remote play no delay or lag.

Pointless if you don’t have a PS5. You can play 200 games but they’re not even popular games. There’s no option to buy games either. You also have to pay $17 a month in order to keep playing it without a PS5. AND it glitches a lot even with good internet connection

The screen was okay, I just did t like how I had to turn everything else off just so the WiFi would be strong enough to use it.
