Plays around the whole house as well as good range outdoors. Was on the fence because of what some early adopters said but Its definitely worth the price.

purchased for my hubby for Christmas - and he absolutely loves it. For someone working FT, also renovating in the house when not working - he sure has managed to log some hours on this thing! :) We can sit together, me at my laptop and him at his PS Portal Remote Player, and in a blink a couple hours can go by. Great purchase, no regrets.

Always wanted it and it streams very well been using it so much

It’s good but the connectivity is lacking. I lose connection a lot and can’t really play online because of too much lag.

I recently got the PlayStation Portal, which I lovingly call the "Dad Station" because it allows me, a father of three, more time to play games. The system is very comfortable to hold, making long gaming sessions enjoyable. Setting it up was a breeze, and the quality of both the sound and graphics is impressive. There's some slight lag, but it largely depends on your connection. Since my system is hardwired, lag is rare. Overall, the PlayStation Portal is a fantastic addition to my gaming setup.

Top quality hardware from Sony. It's great for PlayStation 5 games on the road. You need to have a strong Wi-Fi signal. Ideally, keep your PlayStation 5 on a wired data connection. Works fine. A storage traveler case is recommended. I use a NEXiLUX EVA case which also has a built in stand. Works great just as advertised. Its not a stand alone consoled so u need a ps5 and u have t. have good upload speed on ur internet doesnt matter u have a 1gig thats ur download speed and if u dont have a good upload speed then it will lag alot so make sure you actually know what ur talking about and doing before you get one and complain that it does excatly whats its soppost too lol

The PlayStation Portal is actually really cool. I know it sucks you can only use it on wifi. And you have to have a ps5 to use it. But i love being able to just lay in bed or on the couch and play games like Call of Duty, or GTA 5. It runs pretty well if you do the right settings. If you run a Ethernet cable and put your actual ps5 settings to 1080p it runs very good. The price isnt bad, its built fairly well and its very comfortable in your hand compared to the switch.

Got this as a gift from my wife and I absolute love it. Like in other reviews, I do at times experience some lag. This device in my opinion is more suited for playing games like God of War or other role playing games. Any kind of online shooter games I think you would experience more lag. But the screen is large and vibrant. It feels great in your hands. It honestly feels like a wider PS controller. If you can get your hands on one...I highly recommend!!!

Great device for playing around the house. I battle my wife for the living room tv and this has allowed me to game a lot more than before. However it has not worked well for me on any wifi source outside of my home wifi. Hate that it doesn’t have Bluetooth built in. I just got the new PlayStation pulse explore earbuds, so we’ll see how well those work with the Portal. However, that shot up the overall price i paid. I wouldn’t have bought the headphones if this device had Bluetooth. I feel like Sony messed up there.

If you play a lot of ps5 games and need to share the TV with someone, definitely worth it. I don't personally find myself using it all that much though.

Very clean ps5 design and feel of a paddle and the graphics are good, but that also makes it need more wifi connectivity and may disconnect if youre streaming a high wifi game. Its super convenient if you dont want a big screen in front of you or want to play in a different room. Battery life isnt crazy good either, you might only have a couple hours of play time before you have to charge it again but it's expected for a portable Playstation which is cool in itself anyways

This device is meant to be used for streaming your ps5 on a local wifi network but the signal has to be strong in order to play games smoothly. If you dont have a good wifi signal in your house or wherever you’re gonna be using this device, then gameplay is gonna be rough.

Not bad for the price, but i would definitely go with a Lenovo Legion Go instead.

I bought this for my husband for father's day and it was a great hit. He absolutely enjoys this. It's taking all my attention away lol. I'm so glad he likes it. The only issue he had in the beginning was making sure the PS% was connected to internet via cable and not wifi. I also got him the ear buds. Best fathers day gift. You should get it.

Small screen and soft joycons. If you pkay on an edge controller do not buy this

I like it but it does have its limitations for sure.
