I like it but it does have its limitations for sure.

great device. makes playing away from TV possible. connecting can take a bit sometimes. No lag quality issues while on wifi but definite issues when I used it with my phone as a hotspot lagging and picture quality.

I had the backbone prior to getting the Portal and let me tell you the difference between the two are dramatic! I love the feel of the controllers on the Portal and the screen is much bigger than using my phone!

I missed the original launch by minutes. Took me a few months to get my hand on it and let me tell you it was worth it! Brings back that nostalgia of owning a PSP as a teen. No more turning off the game because the TV has to be turned off or used for something else, this device allows you to continue playing without interfering with the use of your TV. I’m very happy with this purchase!

I got this so i can play while my wife watches tv. Iys good and its not... and it is. The good- perfect controls, easy to set up, great screen which is a decent size. The not so good- connection issues, a bit heavy, no blue tooth for headphones, battery life is mid. For what i need it's not bad and a good option but you really have to want that option if you get this.

It’s perfect if you want to play on the go, but to get the most out of it, your PS5 needs to be connected directly to your router via ethernet cable. Other than that, I like it!

The PS Portal is a fantastic product, so as as you are aware that you NEED a PS5 and you NEED good Wifi. If you have both of these, you will have a great time with this product. Honestly, for my situation (I am not in my apartment very often), its the perfect solution as I can log into my PS5 and play Spider-Man 2 or God of War remotely. For $199 its pretty good value for the product you are getting in return.

Absolutely must have for ps5 users. Thought the resolution would be too low for my liking but the screen is fantastic. Only complaint is you must have good wifi 6 or better unless you're somewhat stationary while playing. I was having trouble when the wifi would switch access points on my mesh network.

It works great on home wi-fi obviously. I was worried about playing remotely, but I have had no issues playing at my parents' house on their Internet connection. With other people in the house always monopolizing the TV, this device is great for still getting some gaming in.

Awesome. I was hesitant due to some limitations but after using a few weeks, it's awesome. No complaints. Home network I've seen no lag issues. 1 public area testing, slight lag in beginning but overall great experience. Even played Helldivers online, 0 issues. I can spread democracy from laying in my bed!

Works great for what it is. There isnt entirely too much to say about the product itself. A fancy remote play device, there are probably alot cheaper options than getting this 200 dollar mini tv from sony itself but at least its guaranteed to work.

Got my preorder in today and it’s better than expected. Clear sound, vibrant and clear screen and almost no latency on my home network. Having the dualsense controls makes it comfortable to hold and feels natural out of the box. Highly recommend this device to folks with good home internet and that want to play away from a TV!

Wasnt planning on purchasing but with having kids and one main tv this is perfect when you want to game while the tv is occupied

This is perfect for what I need it for. I am a dad who has no access to the main tv anymore. I got fiber optic internet and 5g internet as backup at home. It's really slow on 5g. When doing fiber, it does lag at times and you will die online but it's not that bad.

Very cool item. Stream all things from your PS5. I have had good luck with my PS5 wired to my home network. Only drawback so far is no Bluetooth headphone option. Has to be wired or have to have Sony's pulse headphone for a wireless audio. So far so good.
