Excellent product, you just have to make sure you have a good Wi-Fi signal, otherwise you lose connection all the time.

My sons are absolutely enjoying their portal!!!! Great gift especially on road trips.

I purchased the Portal on release day and ended up returning it after a week. Software issues led to lots of stuttering in games, especially in scenes with lots of panning & motion. Control was nearly unplayable for me on the original system software due to this issue. After a major software update (4.0) I heard these issues had been fixed and decided to give it another try. I'm happy to say that my experience is drastically different this time around. Games run near flawlessly and I don't notice any of the original issues that plagued the system on release. Some open world games with lots of foliage (FFVII Rebirth) may still show slight signs of compression when the screen is in motion, but in terms of response times when buttons are pressed it feels really good. If I had to critique the system, I wish the battery lasted longer and that the controller vibration was closer to the PS5 controllers. The vibration feels less precise overall.

Great product easy to use quick loading I bought it as a gift and they loved it!!

I love it. game play is not glitchy at all, loads as fast as my PS5. I am a little disappointed that if you travel with it you have to use wired headphones, as there is no BT capability. I would also recommend getting a screen protector and silicone case if you purchase.

Is it really a good idea when you guys don’t have access to the big TV I like it is professional

The portal is great for my needs. I'm able to play without disrupting any tv time for anyone else. & the use of your PS SUBSCRIPTION is also available.

Used, box was thrashed svi returned it. Should have neen cheaper imho.

This thing gets used daily. Obviously can’t compare to sitting in front of a larger TV but it’s great if lounging on the couch, killing some time. We’ve taken it on vacation using remote connection. We have found this works well for the most part though games that require instant response may/may not have a seamless experience due to some network lag.

Very fun addition for PS5 owners! It’s nice being able to use my TV for movies while still enjoying my favorite games on the couch! Would be great if Sony would make a standalone hand held, but this gets the job done for now. As always, bestbuy is great to work with.

I bought this thinking it was the second coming of the PSP. My intention was to be able to multitask with the PS5 by playing games on the portable and streaming on the tv. Did not know it could only mirror. That was disappointing for me. I like the concept, but it wasn’t what I was looking for.

This is not what I thought it would be. I was hoping it was a console that I can play offline but no you have to be online to play it. And also to your PS4 has to be on rest mode.

Not bad for an on the go game. Cant quite hook it up to my hotspot but all in all not too shabby
