I love my Playstation portal, it’s nice to be able to bring it on the road, it super easy to use my 6year old daughter is able to use it!

phenomenal gaming experience, plus staff was amazing and very easy to communicate with.

Great product! I’ve always wanted to be able to play my PS5 games on the go.

Before I purchased, I had read a lot of reviews and many were from people like me. I’m a parent of two young kids, so being able to sit in front of a TV with my system set up just isn’t in the cards right now, so I went ahead and got this. I do like it but there’s definitely room for improvement. I use a wired in ps5 but some games are tough to play due to lag input. It’s not my WiFi, my WiFi is consistently strong. Sometimes the screen glitches and it’s weird. Some games play perfectly. Oddly some online games play better than offline games. Battlefield plays perfectly. Ghosts of Tsushima plays great. MLB is hard, there’s definite lag between when you hit the button to when the action is performed. Madden mostly plays great. NHL is a mess. I don’t think it can handle that fast constant action right now. I hope it’s something they can patch. I have headphones that work but it seems like they only connect bc I have the dongle in the ps5. There’s somehow no Bluetooth on this thing which in 2024 seems wild. Battery life is pretty good. I’d estimate 4-6 hours per charge which is pretty good IMO. Feels like you’re holding a real controller. Gets a little heavy if you’re laying down holding it but nothing crazy. Overall a cool product that I hope continues to improve. Oh, one more thing, it’s sort of loud. You can really hear it working if that makes sense. Lots of clicks and buzzing at times. Is that normal?

Works great in your home. I bought for travel and it would not connect or work despite wifi connection. Returned

Cool product. Feels premium. Would be better if it was able to download games or use cartridges. Takes a little getting used to since some buttons from the controller use the touch screen instead. Great if you have a PSN membership and strong internet connection. While I have a membership, my internet set up does not seem to be strong enough for a stable connection, so I did not keep this item, however I hear it’s great for those who do

Love this thing. Smooth remote play, crisp screen, and super easy setup. Perfect for when I wanna game without hogging the TV. Highly recommend.

I really like the PlayStation portal but if you really wanna enjoy it you need to be on good wifi for both your ps5 and the portal. So it’s only good if you have amazing wifi and if there is a storm at all or anything it just doesn’t really work. It’s better to me to use the ps4 or 5 to stream from another ps5 to the system. It would be a lot better if it say had built in data or you could download games to it rather than just streaming.

I've been on the fence about the PlayStation Portal since it was announced, but after picking one up from Best Buy, I can confidently say it's one of the best gaming accessories I've bought in a long time. This is a must-have for any PS5 owner who shares a TV or just wants to game without being tied to the screen.

Great for playing in bed and streaming games while on trips as long as you have a hotspot. Graphics are great for a handheld device.

Good hands free device would recommend if use if you have strong wifi

It works great! I mostly used it with cloud gaming. It would be awesome if you could play PlayStation 3 games on it from the cloud.

The portal worked even better than I expected. I've use other devices for remote play Steam Deck and Phone so I wasnt expecting and amazing performance, but man this thing works very well. Let me also specify I have very good internet with a mesh wifi system and I have my PS5 hardwired but I am very happy with my experience. Even streamed games are pretty good.

I love my PS Portal. Especially as a standalone gaming machine bc I do not own a PS5
