Great product for someone on the go, who already has a portable hotspot not a mobile hotspot. Usually $50 per month with your current service provider.

The PlayStation portal is hands down a better handheld then the switch it so comfortable to hold and play your PS5 games wherever you want work home a friends house at the end of the day if you want this handheld buy it $200 bucks is worth it.

It works well for me easy to hold. I recommend it if you want to play when someone is watching tv or using your tv for something else

Quite convenient when needed. There are a few things that can improved like the input lag but overall it does what’s it’s supposed to do!

I love the protal jus wish it was more accessible off online hatw how it has to be on the wifi to play battery drains but other than that having a good wifi connection n you straight to play onlineges with friends

Works good (better with ethernet cord connection) and easy to set up. Only suggestion would be use an ethernet cord to connect PS5 to router if possible. Or use a mesh router to cord connect with the router and a use a second mesh router to ethernet cord connect your PS5 if it is not in the same room. I used a relay mesh router to connect to the one in my living room, then connect that with my PS5 via an ethernet cord and the Portal is flawless now. No more reconnecting due to WIFI not being strong enough in other rooms or lagging.

Absolutely love this thing as i travel for work alot. Small convenient and a blast to use to play jak and dexter!

When using remote play, single player games work fantastic. No input lag or delays even when playing games several hundred miles from my ps5 as long as you have a fairly decent internet connection. There is input lag when playing online games, but that is to be expected. Cloud streaming is a great deal, especially since you don’t actually need a ps5 for that!

Bought this as a gift for my husband so far no complaints be loves it ,screen is a nice size picture is very clear and grip is just like controllers, we travel alot so we are looking forward to traveling with it. I think its a great buy!

I travel a great deal for work, and love to play on to go. This is perfect for those that can't play as much at home, and need something to do in their spare time. As long as you have a decent internet connection, and you home system is on or in rest mode, you can play non-stop.

Like the feel and the graphics of the portal. Just not as portable I wish the hand held could be. Stuck mirroring the ps5 so loses connection if you are in another room

Pros - Hardware quality is excellent - Haptics is excellent, especially when playing games like NFS Unbound that take advantage of the haptic feedback technology Cons - Display is poor when compared to QLED or OLED gaming experience. Games like STEEP, which has a lot of 'whites' cannot be properly viewed on LCD screen, due to poor contrast. (Maybe changing the in game settings may work, but that would mess my display settings on PS5) - Battery life was poor, not sure if i got a device that was more susceptible to battery drain - Need to buy another sony wireless headset if you want to listen to audio (other options are in built speaker or cabled headphones) The hardware is great (except display). I wish they had better display, battery and ability to connect any BT headphones)
