Even after heavy use, it remains vibrant (colors are punchy and bright), sharp (image quality is crisp with no noticeable smearing) and responsive (latency is minimal, making for a very fluid experience). Despite the size, the unit feels remarkably light and well-balanced in the hand. It doesn't cause the hand fatigue that some other handhelds do during long sessions. In terms of the controls - if you like the DualSense, you’ll love this. It feels exactly like a standard PS5 controller. The haptic feedback is just as immersive as the console version. The LED lighting gives it that premium PlayStation look. There are some minor drawbacks. No Bluetooth Audio - having to use wired headphones or PlayStation Link-compatible gear is a bit of a hurdle. The PS five portal is overall a really nice Runu version of the PSP. You can play the game anywhere as long as you have Wi-Fi or a hotspot connection. It’s good for kids comes with a lot of games as long as you have the PlayStation subscription and it also comes with remote plate if you have the PlayStation five console. I recommend this as a 10 out of 10 present for a teenage boy or young boy or a girl birthday gift, Christmas gift, etc.. the screen on it is overall bigger than i expected and very smooth. It holds a good battery. The screen is clear and touchscreen as well. The accessories available for this product are very easy to buy and search for.

This is perfect for in the go gaming. If you go to a friend's house and want to play fornite with them, it's easier to bring this instead of lugging your whole PS5. It's really convenient and I don't notice any lag with decent wifi. The battery life is really good and the screen quality is great too!

Works as intended. It’s a remote player but with the added cloud feature for gaming you don’t need a PS5 anymore. You can have the fastest bagillion Gigabit speeds but if it’s congested with other devices then you’ll experience latency. I recommend having another router you use as an access point dedicated only for the Remote Player. I have no issues and the experience is great with my 300mb internet speeds from Xfinity. I have ease of use 3 stars because everybody doesn’t need to be entry level IT Network Support agents to get the best experience with something you expect just turn on and play, but the experience is amazing if you take to tame to fortify your network for remote play.

These were very hard to find in stock so I was very elated to finally get one. Out of the box the device looks and feels very sleek. It’s probably the most comfortable handheld gaming device I’ve ever held. If you like the the PS5 controller you’ll feel right at home. The screen is the perfect size and looks very vibrant. Be mindful of where you sit because it picks up alot of glare from lighting or the sun which makes it hard to see. The sound is very ample and there is a 3.5mm headphone jack. The one thing I noticed was when I first started playing a game, it seemed the there was some latency. I have very fast internet at home, but for some reason the games weren’t running as well as I thought they should. So I went online and saw that there was a tip of unplugging the hdmi cable from your PS5 when playing the PS Portal. Make sure to unplug it before you turn on the ps5 from the portal. To my surprise it worked and the Portal was running games great. The solution is kind of a nuisance, but did not ruin the experience. Overall, this is not the Playstation portable experience we’ve all been waiting for like a new PSVita, but if you own a PS5, I think this is a peripheral that while not essential, is very enjoyable, practical, and complimentary device for the system. For the price i’m very satisfied with it.

I usually play games on my PC because im lazy to go use my console. Enter PS Portal. This is veet comfortable to hold, and the size of the screen makes it easy on the eyes. Battery life is solid (i usually play plugged in though). Now im able to play on the couch while my fiancee watches tv. With the ps5 hardwired, i noticed verrry little to no latency with the portal. Im still able to plah games like Clair Obscur and GT7 without issue. I took the portal out of state and was still able to play (had a solid wifi connection at the other place).

I was on the fence about this one since you can’t play without WiFi and can only play whatever disc that is in the PS5. I’m old school and I like having the physical disc as opposed to buying digital cause you cant sell a digital game like you can the disc version. I opened the box and was blown away at how beautiful and how big the screen is. The controls fit perfectly in your hands unlike the switch. The battery life is really good. The graphics are amazing and I didn’t really see any lag while playing as llong as you have a good WiFi connection. The $200 price is not that bad for what you’re getting. I definitely recommend buying a case for it. The portal controls take over your PS5. I know video games are going towards all digital in the future so my physical games are gonna be obsolete some day so now that I have the Portal it has changed my mind and Im going to start buying digital games because this thing is so awesome. With all that being said I definitely recommend getting one, you wont be disappointed!

For me this was a good buy and very entertaining, it’s nice to jump on the game without holding up the tv and others can do their own thing. It’s got a superb screen and I have yet to notice any lag or under performance. It will be going with me on trips to enjoy gaming on the go and you won’t know if you like it until you get it. No harm in trying out as you might be surprised and it’s very slick with a great time on battery life.

This is great especially if you have children! For the best experience, the PS5 needs to be plugged directly in your router. It’s pretty much my PS5 in my hand, Battery life is good but not going to last more than 8 hrs with continuous gameplay. Screen is huge, great sound, some games require alot of fine reading which this systems lacks.
