One of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

Works amazing even with hotspot, can even stream directly to it without a ps5 if you have a ps premium subscriptions

I would give it 5 stars, however it does get a little laggy at times due to it streaming from PS5. I LOVE it and it works well for me, however if you are unable to hardwire your PS5 it may not be as fast as you want. I play red dead on it all night after my wife holds the living room TV hostage.

I love the PSPortal. It makes gaming on the go easy. Not only is the controller hand-held comfortable and secure but the graphics and screen quality is out of this world. The latency is beautiful and remote gaming has little to no lag. Also the cloud gaming beta feature is a step in the right direction. Great game list. All in all this was a rightful purchase.

My connection is never stable. I don't know if it's me because when I'm near the modem it's still problematic, when I'm far away it's still problematic. I have the same connection with other handheld consoles without any problems, plus the screen is bigger and the Dualsense feature is very good.

Amazing. This is the sweet spot for the ps5. Make sure ps5 is plugged in with ethernet cord for best performance and also unplug hdmi from tv. Works flawless for me on these Settings. Your Welcome

My husband is a gamer and this was the best of the best, he take it to work , out of town over his friends houses wherever he can use wifi at it must go.

Love my Portal! It works off my hotspot when im not near wifi, allows me to play games anywhere and everyone is asking about what it is. I tell them about it, and they want one.

I love this device. I've had it since launch and it does exactly what I hoped it would plus more. I had my PS5 setup in my living room collecting dust and now I'm able to get some game time in without interrupting my kids. This device is heavily dependent on having a solid network infrastructure. If your PS5 is unable to be connected via ethernet, I would avoid buying this product. If you are using the router that your ISP provided you, I would avoid buying this product. Your internet speed has nothing to do with how well this will perform in your home. My setup: ISP - Verizon Speed - 1Gig Router - eero Pro 6E PS5 - Connected via Ethernet PS Portal - Connected to Wi-Fi on 5Ghz

Great console accessory. I use it while sitting at my computer or just lounging while Netflix is playing on my TV. Big beautiful screen, quality feel. Highly recommend.

This is absolutely excellent! Sooooo convenient! When I am working remote, I can just pick it hotspot and I am off to play.

Easy setup I feel like the device is a little delicate I hope they come out with a case for it soon Wi-Fi connection gets weak sometimes

The only limitations which kept it from getting a 5 were: 1. It can only mirror one profile, the main one. I think forethought into that would have made the device a true Switch contender in a number of ways. 2. Wi-fi limitations. I understand needing high bandwidth but, unless you turn off the remote play option on the PS5, you can’t add additional WiFi options such as Hotspot. If you are elsewhere, it won’t even login to give you a chance to choose a separate WiFi or use the Hotspot. That will be a real problem for me when I want to use it when I travel overseas in August 2024.

Excellent device for play in every place in your house … i recommend it !!!!!!

This device is amazing, it has worked anywhere ive taken it so far . As long as you have a stable internet connection it works wonders to be able to game on the go.

I love my Playstation Portal. My main tv which I play my PS5 on and XSX was being used for Christmas movies. My Portal came in clutch. I played Gran Tourismo and Spider Man 2 flawlessly. I took my Portal to my detached garage to get away from my other half and it worked smoothly. If youre married this thing is a game changer. I even took it to the hospital while waiting for my grandson to arrive and it worked perfectly while using the hospitals wifi. Well worth the price. It plays and feels awesome. If i had to ding it..it would be the battery life. I want to say it lasted almost 2 hours. But, I'm just nit picking at this point.

I have so many good things to say about the Portal. I genuinely love it. For a handheld the graphics are fantastic. Most importantly, you can get your game on literally anywhere with wifi, which is basically everywhere these days. It feels great in your hand, the sound quality isn't perfect but you would be ridiculous to think it should be in a handheld. Easily worth the price, as a matter of fact you are getting a great value deal for $200. Buy it, seriously. You are doing a disservice to your gaming self and DEMOCRACY if you don't!!!
