It’s great and it’s very portable and the quality is top notch.

PlayStation portal is great for in home gaming with good wifi coverage depending on your internet servive plans. But the moment you step away from you house and have no wifi its useless. If you think you might get away tethering with mobile hotspot, forget about it. You’ll probably get a good 10 min out of it until your connection becomes unstable, which leads to furstrating disconections. Overall id say the portal is great for homes that may have to share a tv from time to time as you can sit in the comfort of your home and just game casually. Note latency intensive games like 2k25 and fps shooters will not be gour friend if gour looking to achieve performance.

Just a bad product if you don’t have constant access to amazing internet speeds. Don’t recommend for travelers since hotel WiFi is not always the best

If you don’t have one, you must buy one for your kids. They’re awesome for traveling.
