Works great just as advertised. Its not a stand alone consoled so u need a ps5 and u have t. have good upload speed on ur internet doesnt matter u have a 1gig thats ur download speed and if u dont have a good upload speed then it will lag alot so make sure you actually know what ur talking about and doing before you get one and complain that it does excatly whats its soppost too lol

Great device for playing around the house. I battle my wife for the living room tv and this has allowed me to game a lot more than before. However it has not worked well for me on any wifi source outside of my home wifi. Hate that it doesn’t have Bluetooth built in. I just got the new PlayStation pulse explore earbuds, so we’ll see how well those work with the Portal. However, that shot up the overall price i paid. I wouldn’t have bought the headphones if this device had Bluetooth. I feel like Sony messed up there.

This PlayStation is the best good sound good quality I'm sure I could buy them one more time

This device is meant to be used for streaming your ps5 on a local wifi network but the signal has to be strong in order to play games smoothly. If you dont have a good wifi signal in your house or wherever you’re gonna be using this device, then gameplay is gonna be rough.

Was a bit skeptical about this item at 1st, but the best buy employee helped me see why its a good purchase for a gamer such as myself and they were 100 percent correct... i love everything about it

I like it. Reminds me of my PSP back in 2007. I just don’t like that if I lose WiFi connection it kicks me out of the game asap.

The PS Portal is a fantastic product, so as as you are aware that you NEED a PS5 and you NEED good Wifi. If you have both of these, you will have a great time with this product. Honestly, for my situation (I am not in my apartment very often), its the perfect solution as I can log into my PS5 and play Spider-Man 2 or God of War remotely. For $199 its pretty good value for the product you are getting in return.

PS Portal has evolved into a must have to gamers. Cloud gaming has changed the game for this device. Now you don't have to have a PS5 to play this. A++++

great device. makes playing away from TV possible. connecting can take a bit sometimes. No lag quality issues while on wifi but definite issues when I used it with my phone as a hotspot lagging and picture quality.

I had the backbone prior to getting the Portal and let me tell you the difference between the two are dramatic! I love the feel of the controllers on the Portal and the screen is much bigger than using my phone!

When I got the PlayStation portal, I was ready to return it but when I change a couple of settings on my PlayStation five, it’s worked smoothly and having a good Internet service also helped that

It works great on home wi-fi obviously. I was worried about playing remotely, but I have had no issues playing at my parents' house on their Internet connection. With other people in the house always monopolizing the TV, this device is great for still getting some gaming in.

It’s perfect if you want to play on the go, but to get the most out of it, your PS5 needs to be connected directly to your router via ethernet cable. Other than that, I like it!
