Easy to setup and easy to use. The PsPortal does as advertised with a lightweight feel in hand. Even though it is lightweight it still feels sturdy and durable like it will withstand hours of usage without damage to it. I keep mine in a carrying case for travel and use it outside most days. I am happy with the purchase

When it connects to my ps5 it’s great but sometimes getting a connection is a pain. My home network is good and I am using the ps5 connection using Wi-Fi rather than wired connection, which I heard improves the connectivity. But yeah the cloud streaming is a game changer as long as you’re a ps plus platinum member. Solid to hold and use. The thumb sticks are a little higher than a standard dualsense controller so it takes some getting used to that, but overall a great product!

Really like the compact gaming system that allows me to play on the go

This purchase has been a very large leap 8n gaming for me. I know that this device is not a stand alone portable gaming device, but it has truly given me the ability to clear my back log of games. While at the same time allowing the rest of the family that same alloted time for shows or movies. A big win all around.

For the most part, this portal does what is advertised. You can remotely play or stream your ps5 games away from home. The good: you can play away from home, the led screen is pretty decent. The system is easily portable. The speakers are great. The bad, your ps5 needs to be in rest mode, the controls are super sensitive, the touch pad functionality is in the screen, making certain moves complicated, and msybe the worst function is the wifi connection. If your wifi in the area you are playing, if it's a good connection then the game play is ok.. but if the wifi isnt that great, then playing is a nightmare..every time i play, i get frustrated in the first 20 minutes then give up. But i live in a very rural area, so wifi blows.. bottom line. Its worth it if you have great internet..

The PlayStation Portal is a good companion device for the PS5, but it cannot fully replace a PS5. The device relies heavily on streaming from your console, which causes a noticeable delay when playing video games. Also, for some reason, some of your DualSense controls will not transfer to the PS Portal, which can be annoying for the game you're trying to play.

Great device works better than I expected definitely recommend for mobile ps5 or if you need to share the TV with others.

Love how big the screen is and that I can play my games when I am away from home.

Best handheld for in the house gaming to being away on vacation and wanting to play your ps5. Dont wanna tie up the t.v ..... Want a more personal ps5 experience... Do you love handheld gaming.... Looks good, but falls short where it matters The display and ergonomics are solid, but the lack of HDR support is puzzling—especially since most TVs and PS5 setups run HDR by default. VRR isn’t needed here, but HDR should have been included. The bigger issue is connectivity. This device only supports Wi-Fi 5, which feels outdated. At minimum, it should’ve shipped with Wi-Fi 6E for smoother streaming. Since the Portal can only stream games (either through your PS5 or PS Plus), network performance is everything—and it simply doesn’t deliver. I ended up selling mine, as I get a much better experience streaming to my PC handheld. Third-party apps let you boost bitrate, and with Wi-Fi 6E the stream quality is noticeably sharper. For $200, this should be the best PS5 streaming device on the market. While the DualSense integration is nice, the shortcomings outweigh the benefits. I cannot recommend this product.

I've been usuing the playstation portal now for a coupld of weeks and it is just amazing. It fits my needs since i have children and they live taking up the tv in the living room. Also the process of picking it up at best buy was fast and easy. I don't get any lag and it boots up fast. Also the battery feels like it last forever.

Perfect little handheld for a console truthfully we you can even use it as a secondary PlayStation to a point you can stream your own Library and have someone playing on the main console comparing it to something like the Rog Ally it is a definite leg up controller feels very nice only weird part is is that you have to use the touch screen and as the touchpad on the PS5 controller I really wish they had something like the steam deck with the little mouse pad accessory with it but truthfully $300 it's worth it

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He absolutely loves it and has used it almost every day since he has gotten it. He loves being able to play any of his favorite games even while we’re out of town. 10/10 recommend for any PlayStation lover!!
