Great addition when you do not wanna move your consle around the house when you wanna play in another room.

With a PlayStation plus premium subscription, this device plays the streaming games very well. Very natural feeling in the hands. I wish the blacks on the screen were darker and a wider contrast but this is also only $200 and the display punches above that price point. My biggest complaint is the lack of compatibility with third party Bluetooth headphones. I know they want to sell other hardware, but I already have too many expensive headphone choices at home.

Nice addition to the gamer in your house. Take it with you and continue doing your thing.

It’s a nice device. Works really good with a decent internet connection. The screen is so much bigger vs a iPhone and you can see much more detail in games you’re playing. The battery lasts a decent amount of time. Remote is great if others wanna watch the tv

I love this thing, don't give up on the drops! Just be persistent and it'll happen, super worth it. So nice to have so others can watch TV, or not, and I still can play.

Great for playing in bed and streaming games while on trips as long as you have a hotspot. Graphics are great for a handheld device.

it’s amazing!! but could be better like turn it into a device where you wouldn’t need to own a ps to be able to play ps games almost whenever we want. i like how there’s cloud stream to where we can kinda do that but it is kinda sad that those games are sometimes only temporary.

I love the PlayStation Portal but I have a specific use case. My PS5 is in my living room and I want to play PS5 while in the bedroom while watching TV. This works well for this. The feel of the device feels great and it has a nice, large screen. I tried to use things like the Backbone but could never find a screen that was this large that would fix the Backbone. I really need to bigger screen to play these PS5 games. I can see this device could be a problem for someone that wants to play PS5 games outside the home. I have never tried doing this and don't see a use case where I would need to do that at this time.

New update makes this portal well worth it. If you were on the fence before, I think this update is a game changer.

The PlayStation Portal is a must have! I love this device. It makes it easy for me to play my PlayStation in bed while my wife watches something on the TV. One thing to note is that if you’re experiencing lag, make sure your PS5 is hardwired into your network. Once I did that all lag I experienced was gone. I was even experiencing lag standing next to my PS5 while getting 500+ Mbps wirelessly. Do I wish this device could play games independently of a PS5? Yes! But I knew what this device was and it does that task extremely well.

Super cool and easy to use. Recommend good wifi other than that it’s awesome!

I would give it 5 stars, however it does get a little laggy at times due to it streaming from PS5. I LOVE it and it works well for me, however if you are unable to hardwire your PS5 it may not be as fast as you want. I play red dead on it all night after my wife holds the living room TV hostage.

I love the concept and the screen is really nice. I also love the controllers but the WI-FI 5 on the device is awful. I have WI-FI 7 in my home and the gameplay was not good. For this reason, im returing it sadly. Hopefully they will update it and ill buy it again.

Runs smooth and picture looks great. You definitely need a very solid wifi connection for it to be reliable or it will get pixelated/lag.
