I got this so that i can play while my wife watches her programming on TV. I can play from any room in the APT. I love the large vibrant screen. Fits nicely in my hands. Pairing to my PS5 console was easy. NO COmplaints.

This has been a game changer for me. I never had time to game. Always entertaining kids. The has given me a chance to get a game in here or there when I have a minute. Connection is great and controls are smooth! Great buy!

I bought the PlayStation Portal thinking multiple people could use the PlayStation at the same time. I later found out that only one person can use the PS5 if you are streaming directly from it, which I should have researched before buying. The Portal can still be used if you have a PlayStation Plus Premium membership, since it allows you to stream games directly from the cloud without connecting to your PS5. But for that, you need a strong and stable internet connection, otherwise the experience is frustrating. Even though I had more than a decent internet connection, I experienced lower fps, reduced resolution, and constant lagging. On the positive side, the ergonomics are excellent and the Portal is relatively affordable compared to other handheld gaming devices. I ended up returning mine because I could not play the games I already owned, which was the main reason I bought it, and the cloud gaming option never provided a smooth or reliable experience.

Always take it with me to play my PS5. Good product!

I have found this great for being able game from different areas of the house. The switch has been a big win for me because of the mobility, this gives the same experience bit with the ability to play games from my PS library. Big win in my book!

I was skeptical on the need for this since I’ve never used remote play. But with a little man who likes to play spiderman at all times I’m now able to have him use the portal while freeing up the living room tv. I hate that it lacks Bluetooth but overall I’ve had zero issues with connecting and using. I’ve even tried it on the WiFi where I worked and it played flawlessly. This wasn’t needed but I’m glad I got it.

It was tge perfect gift for my daughter. She actually said it was her #1 gift that she wanted. Guess what!? It was! It is such a great pleasure to watch her play EVERYWHERE!!!

Works great and it’s so nice being able to play my ps5 games anywhere now.

This product does as advertised. Unfortunately, I dont have access ro connect my PS5 via Ethernet so theres stability issues at peak hours. I pay for about 500 GB a month. However i have more than 30 products connected via WiFi in the home. I've noticed I get better connectivity early in the morning and late at night.

I never get to play my ps5 due to adulting. After getting ps portal I have already logged 90 hours on expedition 33. It is perfect device for a busy person that still wants to game.

The playstation portal is a must have for extreme gamers. This isnt a stand alone console, meaning you do have to own a ps5. This device allows you to play all the games you have on playstation while on supported wifi. I play my playstation at work and anywhere else i can. My 8 year old also enjpys this when were out or if im using the tv to watch sports. The battery life on this playstation portal is excellent.

10/10 recommend especially if you have a PlayStation at home and always traveling. Just make sure you have good WiFi whenever using

Love that i dont have to be in the living room and can play all arounf the house. gliches sometimes but nothing too bad.

For the open box pricing this device is a steal. Even at full price it’s worth consideration now that PlayStation has updated it to be possible to use without a PS5, you just need a subscription to use cloud gaming from Sony and you’re set.

I love being able to play my games on the go and the streaming is even better

Good around the house, no connection issues. Probably wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have good WiFi though. There were too many software updates when you first use it, but after that no issues.
