awesome for on the go. Works well and hands on at all times

Was on the fence when purchasing this but I'm glad I did. It's definitely not for everyone. I'm not huge into handhleds, especially if it can be played on the big screen but when I want to play couch co op with the hubby and don't want to share a screen, this is a great alternative. I just connect to my ps5 and we play on one of our other screens with his ps5. Just $100 more than the backbone, it's definitely worth a try.

Love my portal. Works great and love being able to play it games on the go. Just have to make sure you have a good internet connection

This purchase was a great gift for my nephew! He loves it and all its features. Especially since he’s the type to love to play games on the go! 10/10 recommend purchasing for all the gamers out there!

I love this portal. I originally bought the white one and turned it back and got the midnight black one. I have no problems with internet connection. It doesn't lag for me. It's perfect for my everyday use around the house.

Let me start off by saying that the portal in concept is awesome, but in my time with it i foujd that it did not live up to what i expected. I know this is technically a streaming device only and nothing gets played on the portal natively but i feel like i should not have had the experience i had with it with the internet speeds i have. I see people posting YouTube videos saying they can technically play the device anywhere as long as they have Wifi which definitely did not work for me. I brought it to a friends house and never connected to my ps5 that was in rest mode at home. And even my experience at home was not great i had to go in change a bunch of settings in my portal and my router settings to make it work just a little bit better. Even with what i looked up and changed it still wasnt the greatest experience. Sooo anyways when it works its mind blowing to play God of War on a handheld at 60fps buuut in most case the connection was so bad i would get disconnected mutliple times in a session when i was in the room NEXT to my router, didnt even work downstairs for me. So if you want something you can just turn on and play without having to think then this is probably not for you. I am returning mine after some weeks and opting to get the steam deck instead.

as a dad of 4 kids playing on the big screen it gets hard for me so i decide to buy the play station portal and it was worth my money i can play anywhere inside my house

Its a fantastic device for what it is. Just make sure you have solid internet where your PS5 is.

I know there's alot of bad reviews but i can say my husband loves it. He was happy with his gift. Great graphics and the streaming makes it wonderful to play, no lagging. Would definitely recommend.

This was an ok purchase, but I had trouble getting access to the internet and can only use it at home. Which was no use to me.

Picked it up on a whim. It’s fun to play especially when you have good WiFi connection & when your PS5 is hardwired by Ethernet cable. Best with single player games because if the small input lag, but it’s hardly noticeable.

All I can say is that my 11year old grandson is extremely happy about this gift. He had no idea he was getting this item and for the price it was the Best Buy indeed. He immediately knew how to operate it as to where it would take me years lol.

I didnt think that I was going to enjoy this as much as I have. It is incredibly simple to set up and use. The functionality of being able to use your tv for the kids while you get some gaming in, is amazing and the fact that you can play it anywhere that has eifi is awesome! Some multiplayer games lag a little bit. But, the value is worth it!

I love this thing! It works seemlessly. I have a direct line from my playstation to my router so the performance on my Portal is excellent. I recommend keeping your game settings on performance mode for the best experience. The set up was also very simple. I was gaming in less than 5 minutes after updates. Its also surprisingly light and the controllers are legit PS5 controllers. If you have to share the tv or if you like gaming while laying in bed, you need to check this thing out!

Im a video gamer. It's a smooth way play games even when you are away. You don't necessarily need the PS5 console as long as you subscribe a PS plus. Very good item

It had bad connection issues to the ps and it wouldnt stay connected
