Purchasing the portal was definitely smooth. When I was picking up my order the employee acknowledged me immediately and ofcourse made sure I had the right info to pick up my product

This is for a very niche group, but it does it’s job perfectly (as long as you have good WiFi). I love how I can play in different rooms in my house easily and also when someone is occupying the tv the PS5 is hooked up to. Make sure you have a lan cable connected to your PS5 for best performance. Gives the PS5 basically Nintendo Switch capabilities, and it’s not even much bigger than a Switch nor heavier. The haptic feedback (and the bigger screen) is what helps separate it from devices like the Backbone.

Decided to buy the ps5 portal after reading reviews and doing research is the best thing i have bought for my ps5. The portal is not heavy and is comfortable to use the buttons feel like the ps5 controllers . Love the freedom of being able to play mostly anywhere i want. I would recommend buying a case,screen protector and maybe a skin for it. Overall i would recommend this to anyone whether you play alot or as a past time you will love it. I know i do.

When you’re laying in your bed and don’t feel to get up and play - ps portal ps portal! All I got to say is this is perfect for those busy fathers that are on the go and when night time comes and the bed is calling….. you can put in a little bit of hustle on your favorite game before you shut eye. Idk that’s me. Anyways I am satisfied with this and couldn’t ask for better.

I was very skeptical about getting a PlayStation Portal but I am very impressed at how good it runs! At home it runs so smooth without any lag or connectivity issues, I have also been using it at work during my breaks and it surprisingly runs good there! I highly recommended the Portal if as a companion for your PS5 and make sure to have it connected to your router wired so you can get the best connectivity and performance!

The Playstation Portal is one of those ideas that sound horrible on paper but a masterpiece in execution. Especially if you’re a busy person who just wants to comfortably lay in bed after a hard days work and play your favorite Playstation games. Personally, I have been enjoying Rise of the Ronin. I have fiber internet 1GB speeds so I can not speak for any other speeds. I have a backbone and it is not the same experience. A great quality of life device overall.

Never having the best connection with remote play on any device I’ve used, and while it could just be my internet, the Portal has far exceeded my expectations. While I do have occasional connection issues, the devices connection to my PlayStation never drops and I’ve had the best experience. It really feels like you’re playing on the device itself. The only issue I have is that I can’t play it laying down without my hands falling asleep after a few minutes, I don’t have this issue with a dualsense controller.

Now I dont have to lug my console everywhere i go. Just remember to enable remote play. Only feature didnt like or need is the vibration on.

The portal works way better than the remote play app. Remote Play works fine on some platforms, I have no issues on android or on a Nintendo switch (homebrew) But to play on a small screen phone is not ideal and playing on a tablet you need a controller until blackbone comes up with a version for tablets. This simply works flawless ly at home where I use it most. Like I said until there are good options for tablets this portal is the best solution yet.

For me this was a good buy and very entertaining, it’s nice to jump on the game without holding up the tv and others can do their own thing. It’s got a superb screen and I have yet to notice any lag or under performance. It will be going with me on trips to enjoy gaming on the go and you won’t know if you like it until you get it. No harm in trying out as you might be surprised and it’s very slick with a great time on battery life.

As long as there's wifi, the gaming never ends! My husband and I each have a Playstation console. It's nice being able to play in separate rooms or right next to each other. Who ever is on "baby duty" to rock our kiddo to sleep, it's easy to take the portal with. At work and have some down time? Portal. It's a decently large screen with great graphics. Honestly, I can't believe it's only $200.

I like using this while watching/listening to other media on the TV. Haven’t used it on a trip yet. Only one time that I’m trying to remote play and the PS5 doesn’t turn on. Might be because I haven’t turned the PS5 system on in a while. So somewhat regular use within a week might help with that.

Crazy how the psp was so ahead of its time ! Bought this to play while traveling or when home bored and I gotta say this thing doesn’t disappoint! With the new beta update games are running crazy smooth

Its a good device for office type or home settings. Not good for on the road travel. Unless you have starlink internet lol. But overal not bad for a quick play.

It was definitely a little annoying trying to figure how to make certain games run good, and getting the comfortability of the controls down. Although I still have had a great deal of fun taking this thing out with me and playing games. Excited for the furtive updates!

As someone who loves my Switch because of the ease of switching between playing on the TV and playing in bed (and also being a Dad that frequently shares the screen with 3 little girls), this device solved a lot of problems I had with my PS5. I can now allow the girls to watch or play their Switch on the TV while also playing the games I love. I also love the ability to being it to bed and play next to my wife while she plays Animal Crossing. There’s no better feeling.

I love this thing! If you have kids and a wife that tell you to turn the game off because no one wants to watch you play and you don’t want to isolate yourself in a cave. Then this is the solution you’ve been looking for. I play my PS5 games on the couch right next to them. Play online Fortnite or regular campaigns! I don’t feel any lag whatsoever. Additionally you can play it anywhere as long as you have a good wifi connection and your PS5 is in rest mode. 10/10 would buy again!!!

I was skeptical of this device at first but its seriously amazing. I have really great wifi at home but even then i run an ethernet cable to the back of my ps5 for a stronger connection and with my hotspot i can literally game on my ps5 through streaming from anywhere. Gameplay has been running flawlessly. I live in PA and tested it from New York on my hotspot. I am very happy with this purchase.

This is the best purchase Ever ! Who don’t have a Playstaion portal you are missing out ! I can now play while doing a number 2 lol …….. Best Buy was the only place I was going to buy this at !!!!!
