Much better than expected. I was not sure if I was going to like the product but after using it for a while I've really enjoyed the experience.

pretty saavy. we remote play all the time, the perfect habdheld portal device. can play anywhere. it is not a handheld gaming console, thats why theres psp.

It’s exactly how it’s advertised for use. It streams your PS5 to the handheld as long as you have a strong internet connection. I did use my mobile hotspot without running into issues as well as using my own WiFi, but when I went over to a friend’s house I did run into some lag. It all just depends on your internet connection if you know you already don’t have a good internet connection you will bump into issues. I do take it every where I go. Runs single player games rather smoothly but for multiplayer games you will have a very small input delay. Once you get use to it, it really doesn’t bother.

I would say overall it’s a very nice little handheld console to play it’s also very smooth however this device is not compatible with the hotspot of newer iphone device(s) because of a security block neither T-mobile nor Playstation has been able to come up with a solution to this problem which is why I cannot give this 5 stars. They really should’ve tested compatibility when programming.

A lot are saying this is useless but with two kids I can game while they take over the TV. Or I can use it in bed. Havent tried using it away from home but will give it a try soon.

I had been using my phone for remote play with a backbone controller, but there was always lag. Picture is great and no lag at all. I might finally get caught up on my games, now.

It's only good for playing digital games and the disk in ps - need good Internet and not one that requires consent - no browser on it ..

For only $200- it is perfect. More games are coming out on the streaming part and there really is not that much input lag when remote playing. Worth it and makes it easy on traveling, rather then having to bring the entire PS5.

Great piece of equipment! I love it. The graphics drop in quality when the battery is low but otherwise it is amazing.

I purchased a reconditioned PlayStation Portal from Best Buy, and although the physical appearance was as stated, excellent the issue was the left controller had so much drift in it I could not even set the system up. It kept moving to different characters on its on??? So what exactly is their verification process? So the rich part wasn’t that they apparently did not do a check of the system. When I returned it, the customer service rep asked me if I wanted to just get a new one and pay the difference? What are you freaking kidding me? So I ordered online so I won’t have to drive 15 miles to BB, which I now had to do to return a defective item and you think I want to reward your company for the inconvenience caused to me? RIGHT!!!! I’ll just order a new one from Amazon and no longer do any purchases from Best Buy, this isn’t baseball. Two strikes and you’re out, do not buy anything refreshed from them.

Decent game catalog light in hand love portability

Im just happy i was able to snag one before it sold out. I do recommend having a strong wifi connection. Because it does get sluggish when it doesnt.

Solid remote play device. Make sure you have good wifi connection and properly adjust PS5 settings to align with the device capabilities.
