Great sound quality and build Is the positive side cons are overpriced and is uncomfortable after long periods on time

much better than my previous turtle beach set. Sound is solid. Comfortable. Battery life could be better.

Pros- virtual surround sound is excellent. Headset controls are easy to use. Sony app allows you to set two game sound presets. Connectivity is great. And the built in microphone picks up your voice so good, I recommend turning down the microphone volume in the PS settings. My only con is the headset sits on your ears very tight. It becomes uncomfortable after awhile. I still recommend this headset because of the pros listed above. And I would buy it again. Best headset value for the money.

Alright this headset has great sound, while using the Virtual Sorround you are able to pick out where audio is coming from from either earcups and it really helps while playing Competitive games. Built wise I would rate between better and best. It is because the hinges that makes the earcups fold could be the same as the old gold wireless headsets. Bottom line is if you like a dedicated headset for PS4 this is one to get because you get independent audio volume towards the chat, game in the headset itself.

Great sound Battery last long Easy to use. My only critique is that it should be Bluetooth.

Bought these for husband, he said the sound quality is great! He said the only down fall they were a tad heavy. But otherwise great product.

...And that is up to you and your preferences. I prefer to have the full surround sound effect, and you won't get that with other headphones with a PS4 (PRO either). I get crisp sounds, a great mic set up, and it's better than the former generation Gold edition one I had by a long shot. You'd think it would be easy to hook up, but if you hook it up to your controller wired, you'll lose the surround effect and any options to customize your sound. It'll also mess up the pairing from the dongle.

The Platinum wireless headset works perfectly with a PlayStation 4 (as it should) but be aware that the the headphones are not necessarily up to the same quality as say, some Sennheiser headphones of the same price range due to the smaller bass drivers in the platinum set. However, it must be mentioned that the surround sound quality inside these headphones is absolutely incredible for nearly any type of game, especially those that have special sound profiles, like God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn.

First off my pair of Tritons stopped working after 7 years. Got them for the PS3. This happened on Dec. 23rd. So no I saw Best Buy had a Christmas sale on these for like $99.99. So I was like what the heck, I'll get these and get a good pair after the holidays. Well needless to say I didn't have to get another pair. They were was away better than my Tritons. My Tritons cost over twice as much. These Platinums are simply AMAZING!!!. Sony did it right. Sound is perfect highs, mids, and looows. I definitely recommend.

This headset is very good for it being wireless you do not get tired wearing it, I highly recommend if you have a PS4 and want a wireless head set

These headsets are cheaply made, When I used mine for the first time there was something loose in the left earphone. I turned out to be one of the circuit boards was not screwed down completely. Not worth one and a half times the cost of the Gold headset. Also I cannot use certain features of this headset due to an echo created when I'm in party chat on my ps4. The Gold is 10x better in my opinion and costs less. All you get for this overpriced headset is that it looks cool with the stainless steel headband.

These are sturdy and of good quality with great sound quality and 3D audio. They are best when used wirelessly but still very good wired
