I have the PS Gold headset and was looking for something more comfortable and better sounding. If you do not already have PS Golds, this might be the right set to buy. If you have golds, you'll probably be disappointed or at least unenthused unless they are broken. This headset is just a little sturdier, just a little more comfortable, and sounds just a little better than the PS4 Golds (which I consider a nice headset for the price). There's really not much difference. However, these also have a few very minor and infrequently occurring cons over the golds: - they seem to have a little less range - they do occasionally hiccup or cut out for just a second - the buttons can rattle when you jiggle the headset (or move your head quickly while wearing) - don't seem connect as quickly or flawlessly. I've had to occasionally turn them back off and on or unplug the dongle and plug it back in to get them connected. If I didn't have a set of PS Golds, I'd probably have no complaints about this headset at all, especially after having bad luck with a set of very expensive Astro A50s. However, I'm looking for something that is more comfortable for marathon gaming sessions and this is just a touch shy of that for me, but is the best choice I've found so far for a completely wireless option.

I got these to go wireless for gaming. My kid (11) and I use them, love the wireless! Sound is also amazing no complaints yet!

Love the fit and look of these headphones. They have fairly good bass and have a lot of customization within the app.

I had the PS Gold Headset for 4 years and they still worked great. I had some gift cards so I figured I'd upgrade. I wish the Plat version would of stuck with the slides for volume control but went to buttons. Same goes for the on/off switch. I prefer the gold version. But overall seems better overall quality than the gold by far. The surround sound is amazing especially in Call of Duty. I feel like I have an edge on the other players. So far so good.

Love how easy it was to setup. Literally plug and play. My old headphones had this complicated setup with an adapter and extra HDMI cable and this wire goes to this port and this port connects to that wire, etc. This has simplified my playing experience and provides a neater gaming setup. The headphones are not as crisp and punchy as my old headphones, but the included app you can download helps with this issue.

I love this thing. The sounds are crystal clear and the bass is awesome. Never had any issues for about a year now.
