The audio is amazing. Functionality is awesome. -1 star for fit though. Pressure is either on top of head or near temples. Either way I adjust them I get a headache after wearing them for so long. Wouldn’t Recommend purchasing without trying a pair on first.

I previously had the Gold headset and I am happy to say that this headset is built remarkably better. Sound is great but the button placement can be a little awkward. This headset is a great alternative for those without expensive 7.1 surround sound speakers.

Sounds great and all, but I really dislike not being Bluetooth and the bass is hardly there for games that have explosions or if you want deep gunfire sounds, can find better headphones for this price.

I own the Turtle Beach 7.1 800x headphones, but when I stretch them over my VR headset I'm constantly worried they'll break. These headphones aren't as loud as my Turtle Beach's, but they do the trick absolutely. Very simple plug and play, high quality surround, and its even more amazing in VR. Worth the buy.

This headset picks up everything! The sound is clean and clear. The only thing I do not like is the mic picks up everything in the room and more! It is August2020 and I use it still everyday. It’s a tough headset and the Best Buy for the buck.

First, these really aren't worth it unless you have a PS4. Second, there currently aren't many games that support the Virtual Surround Sound mode, so you'll only really enjoy these at their fullest with a more limited selection of content. They are great headphones as long as you manage your expectations.

These have a metal headband so they won't break like the gold edition ones (I've had several pairs). The sound is excellent and the noise cancelling works very well. Definitely recommend these for gaming. The only negative (not bad really) is that the buttons are much smaller than the golds.

With these headphones you’re able to hear ambient noises your video games have to offer from the grass crunching beneath your feet to the fast pace breathes your character in certain games will make when their fighting enemies , every little sound is amplified with surround sound feature and this is a quality headset !

Download the headphone companion app and you can customize your eq and what not. Very comfortable. The only problem I have is that I usually leave the USB dongle plugged in, so next time I turn my PS4 sometimes they have trouble connecting.

Overall its a good headset and sound is great but I cant tell much of a difference in the quality from the gold addition. It also has a glitch in the sound once in a while for like 3-5 seconds where you cant hear anything. But overall I enjoy the headset.
