Purchased for my 13yr old son. He always wanted the Platinum series but but was out of my price range. His Other head set has started to not working properly and lucky we saw that Best Buy had the Platinum on sale. Son think they are just the best.

I play a lot of COD and they work perfect. I recomend using the preset #1 for cod because #2 has too much bass and you can’t hear footsteps. These feel very sturdy too. Way better upgrade than the PS4 Gold and a lot better looking. I price matched and got them 25 dollars cheaper. Love them!

I would recommend these to everyone!!! They are way better than any other gaming headsets I ever used.

Bought the PlayStation 4 Platinum headsets thinking it was going to be the best headset especially for its price man was I wrong it has good sound quality but it's flimsy after using it for 6 months I think I went to unfold my headset and it snapped never mess with it aggressively I always take very good care of my electronics another huge issue is it would constantly disconnect from my PlayStation really upset that Sony would release a product like this.

The 3D surround sound is very good. I bought these so I could play and not disturb my wife. The Last of Us part 2 sounded incredible. The 3D surround sound was extremely helpful letting me know where my next potential enemy was at.

These has great sound quality. Much better than the PS Gold version. My son now wants to upgrade his. They are heavy in an good way and appear durable though we haven’t had them to long. Also have a bit of a noise canceling feature which is nice. Well worth the money.

I upgraded to the platinum from gold and it sounds slightly better. I only purchased the platinum headset b/c it was on sale. And my old Gold headset ear muffs is starting to peel of flakes. Overall, I recommend buying the platinum only when on sale.

Headset has held up well for my 11 yr old so far. Bought the ones that were a step down from these and within a week pieces were falling off and they lost sound but these are going strong and holding up well. A little pricey for me but worth it!

The only knock I can give it is the dongle requirement in the USB port but otherwise great headset. Good noice cancellation, great speaker and bass. Happy for the price. Got it during the days of Play sale and price matched here on BB.

Bought these headsets to drown out the noise from my house, like my dogs barking, lawn mowing neighbors, my sister yelling and the door bell ringing. If you just want to immerse yourself in the game and not care about the outside noise, these are the headphones to get.

They are definitely the best of the PS4 headsets. Great sound. Wish it could get a little louder. Those with big heads take caution, they can hurt overtime. Fit decent with VR Still great! Very satisfied

I was super excited for this headset to use with my PS4, however the connection goes out a lot. The sound is great on the headset, but for how often the connection is lost between the headset and the dongle, it's not worth it! The connection would go out even if I would simply turn my head one way or the other. I would always be within 6-10 feet of the dongle and I gave the headset a great amount of time, however the connection issues persisted.

Great headset. I got it on sale. So the value was there too. I am very happy to continue using this headset as I've recently switched from Turtle Beach. The customizable audio settings are great and so are the presents! Very satisfied!

These are by far the best gaming headphones I have ever owned. I replayed one of my favorite games recently and put these on. I felt like I experienced a whole new game with the surround sound and new sounds I haven't heard before.

I have two of these Headsets and they are a lot better than the standard earpiece that comes with the system and are crystal clear and you can set the sound for games you play in the headphone app. Two Great purchases that I have made for my gaming hobby.

Great sale price on these. Good battery life ( approx 10 hours) on one charge, works with your cell phone as well. Use the PlayStation app to adjust these to specs by game manufactures rec. settings or you can use 2 settings to your liking!

The headset has great sound surround sound is great too the materials this headset is made with seems to be A lot better than the ones that Are made of the hard plastic If you’re buying a headset this is a great choice actually the better choice

I bought this headset when if was first released to replace my aging Turtle Beach dpx21. I was looking for something lightweight and wireless with good sound. It felt good on my head and looked sweet but the sound didn't seem as good as my dpx21 which I purchased years ago and is being held together by tape. On my old headset I could adjust the bass and chat volume easily. This one has small volume/chat buttons on the sides. That took some getting used to. To me the bass is lacking and the mic on it is not that good. Why can't they make this BT so I can pair it with other devices? If I want to listen to music thru it on my ipad or phone I have to plug it in. I just decided that for the price point, this headset just wasn't worth the value. I'm sure others may find the headset fine but I think for what it costs Sony could've done more.

Love the headset. I can hear footsteps coming from behind when playing COD games. When your running in different directions you can hear the sounds like if you were actually running around. I can crank it up and not have to worry about it being too loud for others to hear, PRICELESS.
