Good sound 3d audio is clear good bass. You can hear everything with a headset u don't normally hear on TV.

I got these to go with my PlaystationVR, as the bundled earbuds just weren't cutting it. These headphones are great, including a number of VR specific features over the "Gold" versions. The headphones fit nicely over the VR headset. My biggest complaint, though not enough to remove a star, is the headband is a soft rubber material rather than a padded foam of similar headsets. This harder rubber material tends to rub the top of my head wrong. It's not as bad as unpadded headphones, and it might just be my pointy head, but they can get a little irritating to wear for long periods of time. Still, the quality (hello metal headband) more than makes up for the rest.

I've had many many headsets over the years, but once I found the playstation headsets, I've never bought anything else. Great products at great prices!

These wireless headphones are a buy. No worries with wires or making sure headphones are charging on base center. These headphones hold a charge for a very long time.

the mic cuts off from time to time had the folds before this the build quality is 100 times better but just don't like the fact that it cuts off

Platinum headset does a great job for the price. The audio quality is superior to the gold version in terms of low game sounds with 7.1 surround effect. High recommended.

they have 2 cans where sound comes from. They work great. They also have a device that records your voice and transfer it to the game.

I've had this headset for a good long while now and I'm still very satisfied, I mainly play fornite and cod and I can clearly tell where footsteps are coming from.

Great sound, especially for the games that actually take advantage of the headphone's special features. I wish the microphone was a bit better though. It's not a deal breaker however!

The best feature for this item is that you can prioritize chat voice sound or in game sounds customized for you. Also virtual 3D surround awesome.

If reviews are searchable by person you'll see I've reviewed several headsets. I'd put these right in the middle. Above the gold's in durability. Below anything in the 200 range and hey that's the way it should be. If you own a vr and looking for something mid range go for these. Looking for something budget friendly go the gold's for wireless or Astro a10s if not. If you want the best go Astro a40s or the a50s.

Bought this headset for first person shooters sound is of great quality u can easily hear other players footsteps and movements and what direction they’re coming from

Sound is awesome. Have to keep someone close or you lose connection l(10-15 feet) but other than that love them.

Bought these to replace my Turtle Beach Elite 800 headphones. I find these simple to use with superior quality. Great addition to PS4 setup.

I had the poise elite headset I believe it sounded better than these I would recommend trying a different set and pass on this one not worth the money

My initial impression of this headset was not great! It was much lighter and not as "platinum" as I thought it should be. However once it was synced (which was incredibly easy) and figured out the app. THIS HEADSET IS AWESOME! With the 50mm drivers and the 3d 7.1 it really opened up gaming for me. Ive used many other headsets and for the money you cant pass this one up! Battery life is also great! I put about 6 hours gaming and watched 2 movies in 7.1 and it still hasn't died. Thats alot better than I expected from a headset that is so light! Great job Sony!

It feels great, even wearing it for a long period of time it doesn’t really bother you. Love the 3D sound, especially for the VR games.
