I wanted to like this, but I found the headband to pull on my hair a good bit and it only works with PS4. For the same price I was able to purchase the wireless Arctis 7 on discount. It works with PS4, Xbox, and PC, and it's much more comfy.

The platinum headset for PS4 is a pretty good headset, works well with both ps4 and Nintendo switch(as long as its docked) only problems I have with it is that it's a tad quiet and the hinges are a tiny bit fragile.

Very nice quality be very good 1st gaming headset or even your go to headset! I like them but sound could be louder... But you can make it better in the companion app from PlayStation store which is free to download!

Okay I’ve given these a fair chance, and in short worst headset buy ever! My Corsairs are about the same price, and are way better! So let’s start with physical quality. While the pictures of these headphone look phenomenal, they are so cheaply made I had to make sure they were of Sony brand! For something that costs 150$, with a big name like Sony I thought I’d get a better Quality. I can bet $150 that these headsets will not last more than a year, and a half if not less. The outside rim is metal, thin cheap metal that is. While the inside is completely plastic I avoid folding the earphones in so that I don’t wear those out too fast as I use this headset four hours or more daily. Now moving onto sound/mic, The sound quality is mediocre at best I honestly feel like I’m using $30 headphones the earbuds that come with the PsVr are better, and so is the mic! Now for the wireless capabilities of this headset, I have to say that a lot of people say that they getting cut outs while gaming, and I haven’t experience too much of that, but I can tell you if I walk 10 feet away I lose sound. So if I afk to make a sandwich, and want to listen to some music that’s not gonna happen! If you actually read this far congrats you’re informed! Last but not least, comfort my god I feel like I have CD discs pressed onto my ears the cheap foam around the earphones is just so cheap I don’t even feel them at all. I feel is the back of the earphones after an hr I have to adjust them forwards so I can actually feel the soft cheap foam my ears get red every time I use these! In closing for 150$ you can get a way better Quality headset the only reason I did not return these after a week is because they work so well with the VR headset that is the only reason I kept them. Oh and the app they offer to adjust the sound for these is trash I literally get no major difference... Shame on Sony!....

This headset is great. Set up is super easy, only complaint I have is that the battery life could be longer, but it does charge while on, so that is easily remedied. I had the original gold headset, this new improved version is a great upgrade.

If you’re a PS4 gamer looking for a wireless headset with surround sound and a strong design, then you should seriously consider Sony’s own Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0. Built specifically for the PS4, they cost just £79.99, which is quite a bargain compared to other PS4 headsets on the market.

Yes the sound is pristine but if you have fingers larger than a 3rd grader good luck. This is a pretty headset with lousy buttons. They are thin as a wafer.

Seemed like an alright product. 0 bass. My last ones were the ps elite plus and i loved the extra bass. I was dissapointed with no bass. Other than that they seemed good

The USB C connector (for battery charging) is easily damaged because it is not a good fit for any USB C cable I have been able to purchase. Damage the connector means buying a new headset.

These is one of the best sounding headsets I have, but the people I play with complain it sometimes hard to hear me, not sure why they don't put a mic boom on it.

Not much better than PS4 Gold

I bought these headset for me and also bought the PS4 Gold version as a backup and for guests. I have to say that these are OK and not that much of an improvement from the Gold. Also, I find the Gold to be a lot more comfortable than these. These actually hurt the top of my head after a few hours. I have to move it around so that it doesn't touch the same spot. What rests on your head it's a thick rubber strap (you can see it in the picture) versus other headsets which have a cushion. The sound quality is good for gaming. I have not tried the 3D audio so can't comment on that.

Great headset have had issues with the wireless receiver losing signal so I had to wire the headset. Also the headphones break pretty easily if you have a larger size head

If you are looking to get a nice headset but not too expensive this would be the headset to get it. The only downside it's that microphone it's not great to use. It doesn't extend out like the other headphones

This headset is pretty good but I don't see much difference with the Gold headset. The packaging is awesome and offers a nice carry bag for your headset. Comfort wise though, the gold headset feels a lot better to me. The platinum feels too tight. Not much difference in sound quality from the gold. I don't like that the platinum has bendable hinges. Feels like it could break easier than the gold. The gold headset has no hinges. I had the gold headset and gave those to my son after purchasing the platinum. If I had to do it over again, I would purchase the golds over the platinums.

I have to keep re-inserting the dongle because where the usb is, there isn’t enough room for it. So every time I want to use this headset I have to walk up to the ps4 and plug it in again

I have been very happy with these headphones. The playstation integration makes it worth the buy as it gains several useful features that 3rd party headphones won't get to enjoy. I find I use them a lot with my PC as well, just plug and play!

The main purpose I bought these was for their 3D sound feature. This will be the future of gaming to be able to hear EVERYTHING & be completely immersed within whatever game or movie you are playing or watching on your PS4. Get these headsets! You won't regret it!

For PS4, having a wireless headset is the best! I love the amount of buttons and controls on the headset, you can tune the headset to whatever you want from playing games to watching movies. A good piece of tech for $150.00 and below price range.
