Unwarranted price tag. Subpar audio quality. Shoddy build. Poor battery life. The most uncomfortable headset I've ever worn. Returned them and bought Hyperx Cloud Flight.

It sounds good At first but after a few months in audio starts cutting in and out, people could barley hear you, and it hurts the ears. The gold ones in my opinion are better.

Originally had the PlayStation gold headset, long story short ended up back with the gold headset. This 'upgrade' did not really sound any better and the metal headband quickly became uncomfortable

The headset keeps disconnecting from the system. You have to take the dongle out everytime you turn off the system and try to use headset.

I purchased these April-18.Loved these out of the box. A few times later Mic quit working. I charged it and reset, no issues with Mic cutting out since. Now the left speaker quit working or sound is 1/5 of the right speaker output level. Very aggravating. I put them on back wards and it is definitely the headset. Plugged it into my phone only to have same issue. The way it sounds on the forums is a lot of people have had this problem with no fix. $159 is too much money to have these issues.

The mic ( built in ) in this headset is the very worst I’ve ever used. IT’S HAS A MONO MIC! worse than a 7 dollar pair of earbuds I bought for traveling. It is absolute DOG S——-. How do the Platinum sound? Ok, maybe? Actually not so great. No matter how many ways you tweak them, the results are underwhelming. Custom EQ? Trash. Bass, Mid, High. Meh. Buy the ASTRO A40 instead. What the deuce SONY?

I bought these yesterday charged them around 6 hrs started playing Call of duty ww2 and by the second, Map they cut out. Come to find out they did not hold a charge. started charging again in about 3 hrs they still they only one Bar & I could not charge them in ps4 rest mod. They run really small feels like a vice grip on my head ( i wear a XL flex fit hat). The head phones sound like they are i a tunnel or some thing. Ill be returning them today.

Though I was getting a deal which I did buying open box (excellent condition so they say) but I’m still waiting for my refund to go back to my account and let’s not to mention my account was hack but who’s checking .... but overall the product was stained inside the headphones and also around the top as well hassle and a waste of my money .

I got one and I'm happy with it, I'd prefer more pronounced buttons and I'm still getting used to figuring which does what without looking, but this is the headset that was actually made for your PS4, unlike many others I've tried (Logitech, steelseries Arctis 7, etc) I had turtle Beach stealth 400 before and the build quality was trash from the start but the sound quality was fine and it did what was important to me, separate game and chat volume. It started bugging out on me and I said I definitely wasn't getting another TB so I was trying out other wireless headsets to see if they can fit my needs even if they're really made for PC. They can't. This one can as it's made for the PS4, and even tho it doesn't advertise it enough it does have a game/chat balance where I can fully mute one or the other. Just mute master volume if I want to mute both. And I was concerned if I'd still be heard clearly without a boom mic in my face, my friends say they have no problem hearing me so all my fears about this headset were allayed. I only don't like that the mics are on the same side as the clicky buttons... Everybody doesn't need to hear me adjusting my volume.. TL;DR Pros and Cons Pros: Great audio. Comfortable fit. On screen indicators with PS4, unlike all other non Sony headsets. Chat/game volume balance, can completely mute game audio or chat audio when you want. Great build quality. Mic is clear enough according to my friends, couldn't tell I was on a new headset without a boom mic in my face. Cons: Mics are situated on the very same ear cup as the buttons, so my friends will hear every time I adjust my volume or about to mute my mic. Buttons and not wheels. Only indication of a muted mic is behind my ears, or an on screen indicator that disappears after 5 seconds. Not as much range as other headsets I tried, can't go to my kitchen with them anymore. And this maybe nitpicking but having to select All Audio with these means I can't use them and have spectators in my room hear too, since nothing will be coming from the tv

These are the WORST Bluetooth headphones I have ever had. If you step outside the same room as your system your DONE cuts out EVERYTIME and then I have to remove the signal reciever from the ps4 and reconnect it. WORST I went back to plugging in some old bose headphones back into my controller.

I spent 2-3yrs away from PlayStations headsets hoping they would address some of the issues. Bought this platinum To see if it was corrected. Used them for 15-20mins. Still can’t be heard, adjustment buttons for volemue/mute and chat only work half of the time. Just garbage...
