Gave me a open product- beware when purchasing from BestBuy - Gateway

The remote does not work properly with the console

Stopped working within a month. Flimsy product. Do not buy

It arrived damage. It was shipped in a bubble bag. Best Buys should learn how to ship these games

Overall, the PS5 Media Remote is a handy accessory with minor issue keeping it from being highly recommended. it's very much more convenient than using the Dualsense controller when doing almost anything outside of playing a game. It fits snugly in one hand and allows for very quick navigation of the interface, whether you're watching videos or just managing settings and downloads. It's also nice that unlike some other remotes I have, the quick access buttons at the bottom are for services most people might actually use. The only real issue is that it often takes one or two button presses before the PS5 initially recognizes the remote. Once it does, you're all set for a while and it's very responsive, but it's admittedly pretty annoying having to press the PS button multiple times just to turn the system on.

Handy alternative to using a controller if you are in the mood to do something aside from gaming. It’s an improvement for watching anything really.

The PS 5 media remote works so well. I love it. It is so easy use. Then the controller. I would recommend it. Gamers should have this.

IF you own a SONY TV, Don't buy it. You're Sony Remote will already control your ps5. One of the reasons I chose to return mine was due to game picture mode is different from movie mode picture I want. With that said, the sony remote is easy to use, gets to apps quickly and if you don't have a sony tv, it's a total win to buy it.

Not a bad remote but some issues. The white on white makes it difficult to see the buttons in a dimly lit room. Should have had backlighting. I don’t think this remote is a necessity—the controller will do everything this remote does—it’s just clunkier to use. Designwise, it integrates well with PS5. Programming was easy, including the television. However, no real need to program it for the TV. Unless you are using the actual television speakers, it’s not going to control volume of your sound bar or audio system. It is also missing one of the most important buttons—an input button, which would make it really easy to switch between your cable box and the PS5. A huge oversight.
