I got the PlayStation plus card to give my son another year of play on the PS Network. It was super convenient and felt more secure than putting my credit card on another network.

Bought this last year for my son. I didn't realize that once activated, the account is on auto renewal. Gave him this again for Christmas but his account had already renewed. So Sony claims the card expires in 10 years so my son removed auto renew from his account and plans to use this next year--if he remembers where it's stored. Unfortunate that gift cards and memberships cannot be returned.

It's similar to Xbox live and you get a couple free games a month.

Brought this as a Christmas present for my 11 year old Grandson. To him it's better than money since he loves to play games on his computer daily.

I prefer to buy stuff like this on a prepaid card instead of putting my credit card info on my son's ps4. This is a much better deal than playing month to month

My grandson is an avid game player. He was paying $10 a month for this service. Gave this to him for his birthday. It was a great buy, $59.99 for a year instead of the $10 a month.

If you have a PlayStation this is a must you have to have it you can always buy these and hold on to him and when it comes to the Christmas or birthdays you have the gift on hand

Overall, I don't agree with Sony's decision to switch to the business model of requiring you to have their paid online subscription in order to play PlayStation games online, but it is what it is. At least at Best Buy, I can purchase the 12 month subscription and save some money in the process by using the discounts I've amassed by shopping at this store in the past.

This is for a Christmas gift, so as long as it works, 5 stars. I like the fact that I could actually pick up a card to wrap instead of having to download a code and wrap an email.

It should be a good Christmas gift for my husband who keeps begging me to let him buy the subscription. It will be a great surprise. I know he has had it in the past and loved it.

Best Buy has plenty in stock, purchase and input the code in your playstation. Be aware Best Buy does not price match on digital sales. This is was I was told when I attempted to price match Amazon.
