As a PlayStation fan boy, I find the network card is a must have and not only for the games each month but also for online gaming with friends.

Overall, I don't agree with Sony's decision to switch to the business model of requiring you to have their paid online subscription in order to play PlayStation games online, but it is what it is. At least at Best Buy, I can purchase the 12 month subscription and save some money in the process by using the discounts I've amassed by shopping at this store in the past.

A 12 month card is way cheaper than buying a 3 months card and they make great stocking stuffers

If you have a PlayStation this is a must you have to have it you can always buy these and hold on to him and when it comes to the Christmas or birthdays you have the gift on hand

Actually purchased two of these cards, one for my daughter and one for my niece. If you have PlayStation, the Plus membership adds to the gameplay.

This is for a Christmas gift, so as long as it works, 5 stars. I like the fact that I could actually pick up a card to wrap instead of having to download a code and wrap an email.

It should be a good Christmas gift for my husband who keeps begging me to let him buy the subscription. It will be a great surprise. I know he has had it in the past and loved it.
