Our son always ask for the PS4 membership for Christmas. I get a discount coupon every year for my birthday from Best Buy (Dec.). I take advantage and use my discount, makes it a good deal. Never had issues to redeem product.

If you want to get full use of your PS4 - you need to be a member of PlayStationPlus. This gets you access to online gaming. Another thing you get with this card is FREE GAME DOWNLOADS - yes FREE. And they're yours to keep - so long as you're a member of PlayStationPlus. Sure you can pay for membership w/ a credit card, but then you (or your kids) are more prone to accidental on-line purchases. Just buy this card - save yourself some grief, not to mention that you'll get to visit Best Buy in the process.

I am a PC Gamer but decided to get a PS5, and I love it. I needed to learn to use the controllers. Playstation Plus was a great addition because it allowed me to get a bunch of PS4 games at no extra cost so I could learn to work with the controllers. My daughter loved it because she could get her favorite version of COD without having to buy it again.

I bought this card in the store because it was a little cheaper at the time than buying through the PlayStation itself. They were easy to find, it was easy to stick in my purse, and easy to use when I got home.

I got a few games through Best Buy. Usually you don't think of Best Buy being the best deals, but we actually found our products in-store than through Amazon. Associates were helpful and we never felt neglected.

Yes this is a standard 60 dollar a year sub...but the dollar amount of games they give you each month makes this vital. Also if you want to play online, you will need this to have the ability to access online.

If you're planning to play on PSN for any given amount of time, I would suggest to just buy the 12month pass as that brings it out to roughly about $5/month vs the 9.99/month you would spend on a single month.

Also for my son cuz he likes to shop in the playstation store
