The subscription pays for itself within a few months with the games you get every month. Just be aware that you only have access to them as long as the subscription is active but you won't permanently lose them if you let it expire.

Can't have PlayStation without a PlayStation plus account to play all online games it's well worth it

I've never had a Playstation console since the PSP so I've never had access to PS Plus. I got it for the Instant Game Collection on the PS5 and it's absolutely wonderful for that! Great value on PS5!
