It gives you access to online gaming like Fortnite and Star Wars Battlefront for our PS4. The membership for the year is a better value than paying monthly, especially if you play very frequently, which my son does.

This is a must buy if you own a PlayStation. It is a lot of fun and everyone should have one.

Ok obviously I give this 5 stars not only because if you decide to join the PlaySation family with number 4 this is an absolute necessity to purchase along with your PlayStation 4 console and your games and any accessories. That's because with PlayStation 4 Sony is doing the Xbox approach basically made it so that if you want to use online multiplayer in most games (with the exception of free to play and games with monthly subscriptions like Final Fantasy XIV) Basically they adopted the Xbox approach. Because this is the equivalent of an Xbox Live Gold Membership. Also however besides the necessity there are perks to being a member like cloud storage save data, auto-downloads for patches and most importantly just like Xbox (don't ask which one did this first I have no clue) two free games a month exclusive for PlayStation Plusemembers and and after download it's yours forever as long as you maintain your plus membership. So just get this.

The "free" games you get with this service are worth the price you pay for the yearly service.

The PS Plus membership is well worth it. From playing games with friends online, to all of the free games you get (at least two a month) it is a valuable service. As always, Best Buy makes it easy with online, or in-store purchase available.

It has almost become sacrilegious to have a game console and NOT have the online access. I enjoy playing with friends and family online and enjoy the free games the PS Network provides to members. Overall, a great network that has come a long way since the early days of PSN.

I bought this as a gift for xmas and they loved it. They wouldn't stop playing each day ha ha. It is only good for one year and they get to play with other players worldwide. Great xmas gift for the gamer. Just one year is enough, i shouldn't endorse it, lol.
