Great and not so great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.VR experience is very impressive but missing HDR passthrough is NOT. Sony dropped the ball there.

Made Me Sick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really unresponsive, graphics underwhelming, and I got motion sickness that lasted over twelve hours. I have the HTC Vive already and it's SIGNIFICANTLY better. I never once got motion sickness in the Vive. I returned this and ordered a GTX 1070 and Vive for my second computer.

The Sony VR resolution is huge disappointment.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony has pretty much always been my choice when it comes to TVs and video consoles and games. However, I paid nearly $500 USD for all that I purchased when I purchased the Sony VR. I am extremely disappointed with the VR resolution in all the games I have purchased, especially Drive Club, so much so I probably will never play it again.

Great buy for price point, very comfortable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have played the PS VR at multiple game shows and have played multiple games (farpoint, Rez, Batman, Worlds, Star Trek BC, WWT), my conclusion? It's a BUY. Seriously, the immersion is fantastic, and while the graphics aren't as good as some of the other competitors it's very easy to overlook the differences. Honestly of the 3 front running VR experiences this one is my favorite for three reasons Price Quality Comfort (it's really comfortable compared to the others) Cons? The game quality and video quality is not what we are used to on our tvs, and in some ways game design for the VR takes a step backwards, but don't view it as bad, just view it as different. I have never seen so many different, full grown people have so much fun playing a video game(like serious ear to ear smiling and laughing). When I was playing Batman I even had a fear response as I walked up to a ledge on a building, which was a wild experience! Will the technology be better in 2-3 years? Yes, But PlayStation VR is ready to take your gaming experience to the next lvl, so PLEASE, give it a try :)

Premier Nausea & neck breaking simulator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do you want to vomit on yourself? Sprain your neck? Well look no further! Try this untested product which suffers from massive image drift! You will start looking straight ahead and by the time you're done (and sweaty from the poor ventilation) your neck will be turned like the girl from exorcist. You'll also have a cramp and be poorer by about $600. Thanks for playing. Sony does not acknowledge the blurry lenses, the image drift, sweatiness, or nausea problems. Wait for the 2nd or 3rd generation model. Never be an early adapter. Never!!!

This is legit, but not without limitations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this basically as a impulse buy yesterday. First off, in case you don't already know, you will NEED to have a Playstation Camera in order for this work...so if you don't have one, you will need to factor in the cost of the camera when purchasing the VR. Second, before buying any titles, set it up at home and cycle through the included Demo Disk and try out all the available titles to give you an idea what type of games you want. Pros: Comfortable and easy to take on and off. Also size/weight not a factor when in use. Work well. Once you get it calibrated, which is a easy process, response time of controller and VR movement is very good. This REALLY DOES offer a truly immersive feel. Works excellent and I love it. Kinda neat you watch play or watch any functions from the PS4 through your VR, but don't really recommend it cause not worth watching/playing anything 2D through the VR. Cons: Resolution is not the greatest...and get a little bit of the screen door effect. Does not bother me but if you are a graphics nut, maybe a little disappointed. Where VR will have it's limits is. If suffer from vertigo or similar or easily get motion sickness, this is not for you. Fast moving games got my wife a little sick and she needed to stop. Driving, open flying games, adventure games, interactive puzzles, simulation games....that is where it's at. First person shooters or anything with extremely fast movements or action, the audience will probably limited to a certain population who can hack it, unless there is something new that can negate the effects of motion sickness. Cord sticking from it, perhaps in the future, cordless version will be offered. Included earbuds suck...get something decent. And having headphones enhances the whole experience. Conclusion: For a first Gen affordable VR system, I am impressed. I have not tried anything else other VR system than Sony's offering but I'm blown away. It does have it's limitations, but the truly immersive feeling you get is a game changer. As I stated before, I believe the games that will be successful using VR will be adventure/puzzle/simulation types....the fast paced games like 1st-person shooters, maybe too much to handle for many people, but I am looking forward to trying one out. I can't wait for more driving/flying/adventure type games.....it's pretty amazing.

Terrible Display Constant Reconfig
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok the display used in this headset is like looking at a screen from the 1990s every pixel is huge and awful. This would be somewhat ok if you didn't have to reset center every 10 seconds or anytime you moved your head to fast. The Oculus Rift does not make you re-calibrate at all. This was another trash Sony cash grab. Please stop supporting this brand they have no care or concern for their customer.

Three bad sony 4k TVs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received ordered a Sony 4k tv and I've had to have two replacements tv and neither of them have worked out Although my customer service experience at Best Buy was good And they have taking care of me I think three Sony TVs at the price point that I paid for that And all three having major ghosting and led bleeding is ridiculous
